I think that would go with the sig--but change the font to whatever you think fits. I think that'll work with it--and maybe fade the text font? .-.

XDDD Shin, it looks better but maybe you should duplicate the original stock layer and gaussian blur it to... .5 or 1.0. And, set the opacity to a low--blurrage number but not too blurry for the stock. ^^; Think that might work....

You open up a texture, Go Edit>Define brush set (or something like that) and then you name the brush....

I tried mixing you and Chauronity's tuts in a request on another forum, and here's what i got :)

This is the way to make brushes (*.abr) out of the textures.
But I don't think that Murasaki has used the textures in this way. If you look at the tutorial the textures still have their colors. If she had transformed them into brushes they would have the color you choose for the brush, i.e. black.

Now THAT tops it off. It's hawt all around. Great murasaki-ness--purpleness. It blends in with the pink and with the main stock. Those blobs add a more sense of funky with the feminine colors. --And great font! <3

By overblending the textures, I mean by make them seem like you've never really done anything--that they match perfectly! =o

Round border. (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=4VBYB7VU) I honestly take the easy way out of the round borders--But I'm sure they're easy to do. XDD Just don't want to waste time. XDDD There's the brush--All you have to do is Brush from one corner to another and then erase the middle lines to make it all seem one brush. And then fill in the outside with white. ^^

The border was easy. ^^ All I did was take a 1-pixel box anti-aliased block and scribble the corners. XDDD Are you talking about the checkered border?

Meh, I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. :laugh I have to say that this tut rocks, Miss Mura. Best bit was when you decided to just use normal font for the text instead of the brushset. *still laughing* xD Being talkative is awesome, I know how you feel. :P

Meh, I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. xD I have to say that this tut rocks, Miss Mura. Best bit was when you decided to just use normal font for the text instead of the brushset. *still laughing* xD Being talkative is awesome, I know how you feel.

Anyway, I had a go too, but sadly I ended up with a sucky result since it said:

You must be logged in to view this protected entry." to download arisubox's textures. *got no lj account hehe* So I just had to work with the others available for me. I'm so disappointed and sad.

And the outcome you got is awesome. The text is to die for! Great curved borders. Stylish, are we? XDDD I just think you could have smudged more on the texture over his hand(the purple verticle lines) and over be his hair. He doesn't need to be blended anymore. He's still hot, ain't he? :wink We don't want to blend the stock in too much because then there wouldn't be something to look at--to pay attention to. Add a 'Kabam!' =D

I don't really like the 'puppet master' bit but I couldn't think of anything else to put XD.

I love textures now though...On the original stock his hand was a bit plain but the texture came through in the blending and now it looks like he's got a tattoo =D.

Ooo that first version rocks my socks. =3 And you're right! The texture makes that design on his hand like a tattoo! That's insane, yo!

And the text is fine. In the first version, 'puppet master' works perfect. The color, beige, kind of balanced out the light and darkness of the sig. It works!

Damn, that is very good tutorial and nice outcomes. One problem, the tutorial font, size and colour. Cannot see all things what is writed to the tut. So can, you edit that font? And some parts of tut was too complicated for me.
