Setsuna has a bit of a problem that most teenagers don’t have: He’s in love with his sister. However, things only get worse when he and his sister begin to be attacked by things calling themselves Angels, who claim to be after him because apparently he is a reincarnation of one of the most powerful angels ever. Together, he and his sister get pulled into a war between heaven and hell.

Welcome Devilish =) I read all of the series and watched the OVA, I love all of Kaori Yuki's work~

Yes, all of them are awesome, but I like AS best. Though I have to say the OVA isn't this great... It's not bad, and only because it was shown in TV I discovered AS and manga in general, but they left so much out in the OVA, that's why I don't like it nearly as much as the manga.

But you can't really blame them for leaving this out, it's not in the Assiah-arc after all. (Anyway, I love their first meeting... And even though I don't like love stories usually, these two are just... *____*)
I was talking about leaving Ruri, Zaphikel, Raziel, Sevotharte, Metatron etc. out, since they appear during this arc. And about Rosiel killing Sara. About Adam Kadamon who didn't appear at the end of the arc in the OVA if I remember correctly.
So, well, yeah, they changed/left out wuite a lot.^^'''

Haha, I don't think there would be a lot, some people may be religious and/or might read stuff like this cuz it's considered "Mature Content"

One of my friends is religious, but she read and liked AS nevertheless. I hope there are more people like her.^^
But since this is an American forum in the first place, there may be less people who know AS... I only know it's really famous here in Germany, and Kaori Yuki's work's are some of the most sold manga.

haha some people who start reading manga tend not to read older ones or titles they never heard of........
There is only 17 volumns out in Canada so not a lot to get addicted too.....

Well, since there are only 20 volumes in total and I got addicted right after reading the first one, I'd say 17 volumes are more than anough to get addicted to.
I know, I prefer reading still ongoing manga too(since it's cheaper to buy one volume every two month than buying as many as possible whenever I have some money^^''), but whenever I hear of an interesting manga I at least check it out.

But to stay on topic, who are your favourite characters?^^

Well I won't join (for strange reasons, don't ask), but...

I have to say AS was one of the first mangas I bought (due to a recommendation of a classmate)

11 volumes were out back then and I anxiously waited fore very release until the final volume finally came out.

It was totally worth the 120 Euros.
