It works just fine if u ask me. Anyways. I guess my prediction was dead wrong from where the arc will have ended. Here come the fillers. Not bad timing with me going back to classes and studying until the Naruto anime returns to manga storyline. I have some hopes that the Bleach fillers are at least a little enjoyable like at least have funny episodes. In the end good episode.

i just wached the raw and it was ok .......then came the prewiew on next eppisode (wich looks like a filler and probably is) and it looked horrible, words cant describe it .....it looked like a crossover betwen scooby dooh (nothing against scooby dooh but it just doesnt fitt here)and the shityness of tony the tiger jiraya...... guess there is only blood + to look forward to now days :(

The first half of this was a waste of time. They spent 20 minutes just recapping all the big fights from the past 20 episodes or so... boring. I probably would've enjoyed it more if I could understand the commentary from Kon, Ichigo, Renji, Yoruichi, and Hitsugaya, though. The second half just kept jumping from scene to scene and it almost seemed like filler even though it wasn't.

I'm not afraid of Bleach filler!

Anyway, it really wasn't 2 eps, just a 22 min. recap and then the ending of SS. Seems the new filler will have 3 new baddies that will give Ichigo and pals a hard time. Looks like the standard filler affair. Already it resembles Naruto fillers in terms of weird filler villain appearences. Well, get ready for that year o' filler guys!!!:)

Ok, my thoughts
1. Hate the first 20 or so minutes, but its kinda nice to have a quick recap of the best parts.
2. LOVED Unohana when she talked to the 11th squad, she opened her eyes and the screen turned purple.
3. Thought it was kinda weird Ichigo ran from Kenpachi after gaining bankai., but LOVED him getting his sword sliced off by Kenpachi.
4. Somewhatliked the drinking scene
5. Loved how Byakuya was like "Did he just call me by my first name?"
6. Loved Ishida's sewing.
7. Loved Inoue figuring out Ishida liked Rukia
8. Liked the Rukia and Kuukaku scene
9. Most the rest of it was pretty good

Just a minor thing, but the db sub said the hougyoku was hidden in her gigai. But it should have said hidden in her SOUL, not the gigai.

Oh also, Matsumoto complaining about her breasts, Ikkaku and Ichigo arguing about the sickbed, and finally when orihime tells Rukia she has to wear Ishida's clothes were also favorite scenes. In fact, the part that wasn't a recap, I loved it all.

Not too shabby ep. Those fight scenes would have paid off if they were from maybe different angles or something to at least entertaining, otherwise meh, boring.


3. Thought it was kinda weird Ichigo ran from Kenpachi after gaining bankai.

It seems they like to trim out a couple of things from the manga that Kubo includes to complete scenes (like why Ichigo ran from Kenpachi) and replace them with filler chops for some out-of-manga comic relief...which is totally unneccesary.

Overall the ep was ok but it seemed more like the filler team did both parts. Incompetence and Naruto-filler-ish scenes. Its almost like theyre getting the viewers ready for the onslaught of fillers to come. The comic scenes cut in that differ greatly from the manga, the cheesy music that played along with the next episode clip scene, and then not to mention Kon actually having to pop up and actually convince us the next arch WILL be cool. Kinda low if you ask me.

Anyway, so long as bleach survives this filler stuff and god forbid, doesn't get cancelled in the whole process, things will be ok.

i laughed so hard in those last 20 minutes, especially Matsumoto and her breast problems :P I think they did a great job on ending that arc. It was so nice :) Some good Urahara/Yoruichi mysterious stuff as well.

Strange. The last little bit of the episode that had featured Kon filler has been replaced with a scene between Unohana and Isane that was actually in the manga. I think it was only one chapter at the end of the Soul Society arc but they didn't show all of it. I wonder how long we will be getting non-filler cuts at the end of filler episodes.

At least a year i assume. Naruto has gone about 8 months of fillers and should have about 70 chapters when they continue with the manga (tho, i suspect that there will be a filler arc after every canon arc ala One piece)and they use the 2 chapters=1 episode method.
Bleach on the other hand blasts through it's manga, going 3 to even 4 chapters an episode. they about 30 chapters behind it's manga, so a year of filler seems effiecient and then depending on how long Bleach runs, will go the Naruto/One Piece route of long running series, so expect plenty of filler to come.

I agree with you T bleach runs through its manga chapters but unlike naruto there is alot of character development that can be done within bleach. Because alot of the characters we have no idea where they came from esp.. those in S.S. and on that note T2004 I have to ask you one thing where did you get that gif of the gurl in your sig...DAMN I want to see more of the video of her lol:nuts

in the manga? hmm musta missed that chapter then...if that is the case that could be a good strategy to keep viewers watching, even if its to just see that last 30secs of actual main story :P

Thank god Naruto fillers will be over in two months or so - I don't know how long I could handle fillers in both animes that i regularly follow. I do read the mangas - which keep me going - but getting a treat only once a week (or now that the manga also have weeks off here and there, every other week- eek!) doesn't cut it ... In the meanwhile, I've been trying Blood+ (ok but for some reason just doesn't do it for me) and Noein (love it!) yet it isn't the same quality (could be that they are just too new) as the other two.

Seriously... those three guys in the preview totally reminded me of the three guys that they used in the Yu-Gi-Oh filler, mainly because they're cloaked in shadow. The style of fighting looks like that too. Of course... Yu-Gi-Oh filler is entertaining.:amuse Maybe the Bleach filler will be entertaining too? They probably won't be able to introduce as much new stuff that'll still seem cool though...

This episode felt like a filler even though it wasn't. I liked the first half of the episode since I got to watch the awesome fights again!

The first half of the episode was good for the commentary between Kon, Ichigo, Renji, and Ishida. The second half was pure awesomeness, expecially during Ichigo's and Ikkaku's exchange, then with Kenpachi chasing after Ichigo for a rematch when he found out Ichigo was healthy again. Good stuff, good stuff.
