I'm noticing that hate is not good for the human body, but it's so difficult to NOT hate shit. So, I invented a word "hatorite" - basically an amalgam of "hate" and "favorite". The songs you love to hate. So... here is my own personal ranking. Feel free to add your own.

P.S. If you disagree, you are wrong.

THE TOP TEN HATORITE SONGS OF ALL TIME

1. "My Humps" (Black Eyed Peas)
2. "Hollaback Girl" (Gwen Stefani)
3. "Arthur's Song" (Christopher Collins)
4. "My Love Don't Cost A Thing" (Jennifer Lopez)
5. "Back Then" (Mike Jones)
6. "Untitled" (A Simple Plan)
7. "I'll Be Missing You" (Diddy)
8. "You Are Not Alone" (Michael Jackson)
9. SHOCK ("X-Men" theme song, Japanese version)
10. "Beats in my Head" (Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike)

I like stairway. It's really quite a good song, though quite overhyped.

I can't stand that song, honestly.
The video is much (http://myspacesuicide.ytmnsfw.com) better than the song.

"My Humps" is so insanely bad it could have been a parody.

2.)Franz Ferdinand- Every fucking one..
3.)Army of Freshmen- Spring Break
4.)Green Day- Jesus of Suburbia "OmGZ iT hAs SevEn PaRts tHat MeaNs iTsA OpErA" GRR.. Fuck that band.
5.)Atreyu- Right Side of the Bed
6.)Green Day- When I Come Around GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!
7.)The White Stripes- Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself. Jack White has the single most annoying fucking vocals on the face of the entire planet.
8.)That one song by that one band that's playing in the club thing in Kill Bill vol.1 and they used it for that commercial.
9.)Andrew WK- Party Hard
10.)My Humps.

1. Green Day - Wake Me Up When September Ends (The most boring song that ever reached the radio... It must be a miracle!)
2. Simple Plan - Welcome To My Life (It's seriously annoying and worthless.)
3. 50 Cent - P.I.M.P (Because it sucks more infernal ass than anything I ever heard. It scared me away from hip-hop as a whole genre..)
4. The White Stripes - My Doorbell (ugh...)
5. Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out (Allthough their older songs are more annoying and boring..)
6. HIM - Wings of a Butterfly (I felt the sudden urge to kick someone in the head..)
7. Avril Lavigne - sk8er boi (omfg, why!)
8. Nickelback - Someday (A straight copy of 'How You Remind Me' only even worse. The first one actually had a catchy refrain..)
9. Darin - Who's That Girl (ahahhahahahhHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHhahHAHAHAHA)
10. Slipknot - My Plague (They are generally horrible but this is the one track I hate mainly because of my drummers frequent listening to them.)

I don't really think they're in order... Since I midway remembered that HIM is the band I hate more than any of the others...

I've never even heard the song, I just seem to recall moe and others raving about it recently. Or maybe they were hating on it... I don't know, either way I was probably drunk when I read it.

I''m sure its pretty hated on... I have not been greatly disturbed by it anyways... I found it a bit satiric, I still pray it is >_<

I agree with at least one thing, that there's worse stuff out there.

But I really just can't stand Andrew W.K. Party songs in general aren't neccessarily bad, but when it 's all someone does, all bets are off.

yeah i can understand what you mean heh i can only listend to that song once in a while because it gives me a headake if i listend to it too much lol but its like a special moment song

Well, when you're Andrew WK, partying is hardly a special moment, because according to his fifth grade writing level lyrics, he parties always. Don't you question that.

Reviving the thread to say "Blue Monday" by New Order is pretty shitty (Orgy's version sucks too, but somehow makes it more listenable).

Blue Monday is a great song

Gee, why did I know some emo boy would pop up to defend "Blue Monday"?

Sid
01-24-2006, 02:21 PM
haha

How am I emo?

I'm not defending Blue Monday, there's nothing to defend about a song.

You voiced your opinion, I voiced mine.

Is it OK if I include entire albums, artist discographies, and whole groups of artists on my list? It is?! Awesome!

Now for my top ten, in no particular order.

Here I go. :(

1) No Doubt - Rock Steady
This is the album that helped launch Gwen on her current, horrible trajectory)
2) Gwen Stefani - Love.Angel.Music.Baby
B-A-N-A-N-A-S! :nuts
3) Len - Steal My Sunshine
I still feel like murdering someone whenever I hear this song. Thankfully, it isn't popular anymore.
4) My Chemical Romance - Everything they've ever done annoys me immensely.
Esp. that live appearance on MTV. Their lead singer can't sing, and his idea of "stage presence" is writhing around like a junkie-whore.
5) The Cash Money Millionaires - Everything they've ever done.
They started the whole "Bling" thing, and mainstream hip-hop has been in a tailspin ever since.
6) Lil Jon - Everything
"Crunk." Need I say more?
7) Shaggy - Everything
He sucked in the first place, but more importantly, he opened the door for Sean Paul...and Sean Paul, in turn, held the door open for Reggaeton, which I hate with a fiery passion. Maybe it's good for dancing, but it kills me when I have to listen to it.
8) Jessica Simpson - Everything
She is an idiot who was, unfortunately, born with a decent singing voice. Her popularity inexplicably exceeded even her own wildest expectations and that led to her sister, who is possibly less intelligent and certainly less talented, getting a record contract. Also, I think Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan saw how easy it was to be made into "recording artists" because of that god-damned demon-spawned Ashley Simpson.
9) Madonna - Almost everything...Frozen was pretty cool :oh.
If not for Madonna, Britney Spears would likely not be a "recording artist." If I could travel back in time and asphyxiate Madonna, I might even be able to avert other atrocities of the musical kind, such as Mariah Carey in her current state, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, everyone mentioned in number 8), and much, much more! :cry
10) Steven Segal - Songs from the Crystal Cave
Why, God? Wryyyyyyyyyy!!!! I swear, I have never felt as sad and dirty as I did after I finished that album.

I have many other hatorites, but these should suffice for now.

i agree with that entire list. however, it doesn't have nearly enough U2 on it.
Just list the entire catalog.

...9.)Andrew WK- Party Hard

I'd agree if he wasn't one of the most outstanding human beings in the entire universe.

Gee, why did I know some emo boy would pop up to defend "Blue Monday"?

:smack Don't ever use the word "emo" again. It's bad for your health. I swear to you it causes infertility. smile-big
