I loved this show. While it is seemingly trite, there are a lot of good characters and the story is surprisingly fulfilling.

Did I mention that Angelic layer has some very cool action sequences? And that Wizard kicks ass? XD

yeah, it seems that it was for girls when I first seen it but then when they in depth with and I saw the action scenes I was hooked

Coz' you made it before me. :p I read the whole manga series, but only up to vol 2 in anime.

Yep, and I have all five volumes.

I wish there was more in the series... It's slightly different:
Manga:
original art
little CLAMP news page at the beginning of almost every volume
double page
diary of Misaki and Ogata at the end of some volumes
"ICCHAN GO BOOM!"
less Wizard (:cry)

Anime:
More characters (like the otherMisaki)
added scenes
colour (duh)
nice music
"I'm wiggly Icchan! Wiggle wiggle wiggle..."
more Wizard (yay!)

I prefer the manga by a tiny bit, only because I can take it with me. :P
Buy it whereever you buy your usual manga books, for me it's Borders. Best bookstore ever. (Though I live in Australia...)
