So should I watch One Piece?

I'm wondering what really makes the show so good. Also how many episodes does it have? On the front page I read that it's on episode 170 and then I see another thread that says its on 200 and something.

Yeah go for it. One Piece is an amazing series. K-F is currently at 170 while Gerusama started at episode 200 because people were impatient with how slow K-F goes but K-F's quality is GREAT

Seriously though why would you want to watch a 4kids dub version of One Piece which makes even the dub version of Yugioh look good? You should watch the subs and see for yourself just how great One Piece is without all the crap 4kids did to it.

It is a great anime but you should't watch the 4kids version. In 4kids version you don't really know why they are fighting its got no emotion(dunno if that the right word for it but........) it seems like the fights are pointless. Definatly watch the sub!

I started laughing when i saw the post. lol. I started watching the dubbed and it bearly kept my intrest and then i start watching the sub and it blew me away. Its like watching the devil rays(baseball team) for a couple of years and then watcing the Yankees. There not even close. Go with the sub.

Plus you the dubb voice are shitty. Only Zoro is ok

I started on the Viz version of the manga myself. Got up to volume 5 before I started on the subs.

Heh the only thing Dub Piece is missing is Luffy being voiced by Dan Green...

Basically all dubs seem crappy. Subs seem so much better then a dub.

take yu-gi-oh for example i like the subs cause of the music and the voice and nother edit out and no slow talking. the yu-gi-oh dubs suck.

I actually like dub Zoro's voice. The rest are crap, but his is good. He also voiced Guts in Berserk, another swordsman. The guy is actually really funny if you watch the Berserk outtakes.
