Well I went out and bought an anti-spyware program todayand I bought a new HD as well.

I installed the HD and failed to have it be noticed by the system properly... Thats a different problem which I cant solve unless I get my current HD fixed because the damn anti-spyware system has removed something that has now caused my HD to crash on launch and just freezes up with some stupid error.

I thought maybe it was just crashing because I had my new HD as a slave and sometimes that will cause the computer to lock up due to the jumpers ad how they are set up or whatever. I then removed all new hardware that was associated with my new HD since it was saying to even use the new cord.

Then I launched it up normally with all settings like they were and the same damn thing happened. Ieven tried safe mode and that just had the same damn thing happen.

Also when I did my first sweep for spyware when it said to restart to remove some programs similar errors kept on popping up. They didnt really hinder computer performance or cause it to crash just gave me a fricken headache because they wanted to pop up. >.<

I then decided well I got a brand new fricken HD. Ill just run my computer from there and switch everything around. That all back fired with I miss placed all my system CDs... :/

The error is this:
Application or DLL C:\Windows\System32\logl.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.

The errors that I got before the sytem crashed on start up looked exactly like this and this imparticular one has shownup before.

My start up windows screen is also different. Its a semi pretty blue screen with the IBM logo on the top right and says OS/something or whatever. his didnt start popping up until it starting crashing as well.

Im going tosearch a few more places so I can get my slave drive possibly working. Oh and fuck spyware! Everytime I try to get rid of it it either kills the program Im using to get rid of it or this happens...

Yeh me too if I could find the damn disk!

This is a hard lesson for me. Never let spyware sit on your computer untouched for 2 years and then try to remove it because then it gets pissed and kills your computer.

Im going to give Webroot hell for this!

ok, wait....you said it crashes during startup....how does that allow you to still run an anti-spyware scan then?

I have a few questions:

1.What OS are you running, and what computer do you have?

2.Also, how long ago did the problems start showing up?

3.What POS antispyware program were you using, that supposidly deleted something it shouldn't have?

it could be a Bios problem, try updating it

Well I ran it before it happened and after the first time and the first restart it did this. After restarting my computer because I had to fool around with the hardware a bit since I wasnt exactly sue if I installed the new HD correctly that error started popping up right at start up crashing my computer.

yeah, it almost sounds like the new HD messed up the original.

I did remove the new one and its currently not connected. I dont know how the new could of ruined the old one when it really hasnt been detected by my system yet and the only thing I did was hook them up.

I have found some driver disks and Windows XP so hopefully I can get the new HD running at least.

I also followed the directions and didnt make any "alterations" of the instructions so...

Windows XP came with my computer and it has never crashed before well until now that is.

So technically never.

maybe that would explain it, cuz here we need to do a fresh install of xp every 6 months, cuz xp is like...unstable

Well then I should of done it at least 4 times already. -_-

I never found it necessary since my computer was fine up until now and I decided to do something about the massive amounts of spyware that has managed to grow inside my system for years.

Yeah well turns out those damn disks did shit. Im probably going to have to go out and buy a new Windows XP cd. -_-

Oh the joys of computers. You try and install something and LIUHSDDLFRVGVKDBNF NLDHFNVSDFJF happens.

Edit:
Well I found out what the problem was and it will make you laugh your ass off.

Well I was majorly pissed so I decided to beat on the keyboard after the 50th time of restarting my piece of shit computer... lol

I hit enter in fury and you know what happened? It went to the next stupid image error. Then I hit enter AGAIN. It then goes to my password screen...

-_-
Turns out the reason why my mouse wasnt working and seemedas if my computer was entirely frozen was because the fucking mouse was unplugged since I pulled it out on accident when I was installing the new HD. Now the real problem is HOW DO I GET RID OF THE FUCKING GOD DAMN ERRORS BECAUSE THE SPAM LIKE THEY OWN MY COMPUTER!

From memory logl.dll is from my mortal enemy CWS (cool web search) anyone who has encoutered it knows what I mean. (Is that the error your talking about I'm unsure what you mean by errors spamming you... If so search for CWS Shreder, which should detect the problem,
