the hidden character in Hyoutei is エガテ・マクラウド・桧垣 (not sure about the correct romaji for it, egate maclaude higashi?? not sure... but the 'egate makuraudo' part is definitely not a japanese name...)
the actor for that role will be RIKIYA, and that character will be Hyoutei's bench coach, i.e. repleacement for Sakaki...

I was re watching the show... then my computer broke :cry I'm sure I've complained too much about that already though. ^^ I should pick up where I left off though.

I really wasn't fond of the last few plot arcs... the voices for the "American" tennis players were just not very good. The only good thing that comes out of the end of the show is the Tezuka v. Fuji match-- The last really good plot arc, in my opinion was the match against Rikkai, and Ryoma's match against Sanada. ^^

editz: I started my search for the right chapter of the manga at ch. 150, but that was only Tezuka v. Atobe, only about mid-show. So I skipped to 225, and found myself in the middle of one of my favorite matches Ryoma v. Sanada, and that's pretty close to where the story diverges-- so I guess I'll read from there. ^_^

I don't think there's anything to edit out in PoT. They'll do fine with it. :) They've done a great job with Naruto so far, IMO.

They will not, however, have character cd's. XD I don't think American voice actors will sing all those songs. XDDDDD

I see a new PoT fanclub has started. I would like to join this FC if possible.

So I have a question. Does anyone know when the next episode of the National Chapter OVA will be released. According to AniDB.net, it says that both episode 2 and 3 should have been released on the 26th of May. I know the series has been licensed but I was curious if anyone was still subbing it and if not, where could I get the RAWs.

While I do what's gonna happen next because of the manga, I am dying to see it animated. The National Tournament has been great so far and I'm dying to see what happens next.

Fudomine is getting their butts whooped by Shitenhouji so it appears that Seigaku's next opponent will be Shitenhouji. I thought that they'd face off in the finals because of the way they've been hyping up Shitenhouji's first year rookie and how he is on par with Echizen. They way things are going, it looks like it'll be a Seigaku-Rikkadai rematch in the finals, only this time, both of the teams' captains will have returned.

You just download the manga and read it. The OVA's have followed the manga almost exactly. They have the chapters uploaded at stoptazmo.com for direct downloads. I highly recommend doing so since it's so good. You should probably start readin from ch 253 onwards.

It shouldn't take me long too catch up, since I'm on my two week holiday right now. :) I just read 253, and Momoshiro has bandaids on his face, and not in the anime. What happened?

haha, lol. I just noticed that as I reread ch253. It's kinda funny actually. In the beginning of ch253, he didn't have any bandages at all. Then on the last page of the chapter, he has a bandage on his cheek. Then in ch254, he has another bandage on his nose. It's like he's randomnly adding bandages. lol. The reason why he's wearing bandages is because of the mountain training that he did during the break from their match with Rikkadai and the national tournament. Just so you know, the anime completely makes up that whole tournament between US and Japan. It never happens in the manga. They go straight from the Rikkadai match to the national tournament.

At least that tournament with the US was interesting, so I didn't mind that at all. Same goes for the fillers in the anime, even though there isn't any tennis in some of them, it's still entertaining.

The PoT chapters are surprisingly short! =O I've nearly caught up with it, only 13 more chapters to go. ^^

Yea, the manga is hecka easy to read. As you've noticed, you'll zoom throught them fairly quickly. I too did not mind the US arc. I actually did not read the manga for this series until after the anime was over so I had no idea what was real and what was not. Either way, I have enjoyed both the anime and the manga for this series and am glad that there are OVA's for the national tournament.

Yea, I know what you mean. I really hope someone keeps subbing them. I know one of the groups, Saizen, is really slow so they might be continuing it but are just really far behind. They have no set schedule so they release eps whenever they have time to. They're over 10 eps behind in an anime I'm watching called Eyeshield 21. So hopefully they do decide to keep subbing it. I just hope they release it soon so I can watch these eps subbed.
