I just adore the manga Midori so much. About the same in the anime plane but there's something about the one in the manga that attracts me. I love how at the end of volume two Midori casually says "Incidentally, I'm 17 years old!" and Tate says "That's a lie!" :laugh

Well, my dad bought me the FFX-2 gam for Christmas, and I'd played it so much that I'd memorized all the sounds from it and knew everything that happened. (Lol, I was on the friend on my phone while he was playing it and he got pissed at me 'cause I could always tell when he'd gotten a Game Over)

So I asked my mom if she could buy me the Japanese version. 'Cause I think Japanese voices convey more emotion and everything than the English voices. So she ordered it off this random place and not -only- did it come about a month after my birthday, but when I got it, it wouldn't even play in my PS2 'cause it was an NTSC-J disc instead of a NTSC-USC.

You know when you watch anime, after watching one series you go to another and you find the voices of some characters the same? I was just watching some old episodes of Mai HiME then went to watch some old episodes of Naruto (>.< fillers are too boring...) and there were so many voices that are the same. So I checked and omg...I never realised how many seiyuu from Naruto also voice a character in Mai HiME. O.O There's over five of them.

Anyways, to answer your question, the omakes are special bonuses include in the HiME DVDs. They're about only a minute long but they are good detailed backstories on the characters that you probably didn't take notice of while watching the anime.

For instance, in one of the omakes, Alyssa explains about her "very important person" and why Miyu is considered more as Alyssa's other half.

It's really a nice for little background info but it explains us more on the characters. Some of these even are what's going on between certain episodes. If you haven't seen them yet, now's a good time to catch them. :amuse

Anyways, to answer your question, the omakes are special bonuses include in the HiME DVDs. They're about only a minute long but they are good detailed backstories on the characters that you probably didn't take notice of while watching the anime.

For instance, in one of the omakes, Alyssa explains about her "very important person" and why Miyu is considered more as Alyssa's other half.

It's really a nice for little background info but it explains us more on the characters. Some of these even are what's going on between certain episodes. If you haven't seen them yet, now's a good time to catch them. :amuse
