I can easily say that I'm a gamer, and play games when I get the chance!
Especially online fps like cs and bf2!

Yep, I play games on a daily basis. I've been a gamer for quite sometime now and been proud of that fact. Even though gamers are usually seen as nerds and people who don't have any social skills, it's just a stereotype. If you play games, and like doing that, nothing to be ashamed in doing that, I say.

why no Xbox? well i allready have a PC and basically all the great Xbox games are on PC anyways so i am satisfied with that and IMO keyboard and mouse > controller .

I am an original gamer.

I gamed back when the Atari was still popular.

I gamed every day on the Atari with Yar's Revenge, Frogger, Indian Jones, and even ET.

Then I moved to the NES, Mario 3 was a favorite of the time, as was Zelda II and Punch Out. Only later would I discover Final Fantasy.

I occasionally even got to go to a friend's house and play the old Sega Master System!

After that, SNES and Genesis, at the same time! :amaze

Shortly after, the TG16, barely anyone even knows what that is, apparently.

Then came highschool, still clinging to the SNES, I was introduced to the PC. Doom was my first, of course. Then Duke Nukem, then Quake, and it spiraled out of control after that.

Then came the Playstation. Dawn of FFVII, end of my getting good grades.

After that, the PS2. My life as a human, was over.

I don't play every day anymore, nor do I stay up until 5am playing anymore, but I am still a gamer, and forever will be.

I read an article about someone that had stopped studying so he could play world of warcraft. It was a picture of his room with a stack of empty coca cola cans beside him. He said something like; "Studying is not hard or demanding, but WoW is." He said also that he will quit playing WoW for a year to do his exams or something.
That's why I never play WoW...

My friend did that.. Lol, he quited school about 4 month ago to play wow.. Realy stupid tbh and now hes into it so much so he wont even come to our LAN parties.. he never goes out the only thing he does is to play..

lol i know people just like that who's lives have been ruined by WoW. i didn't see him at lectures for months - needless to say he failed. At the moment I'm playing: PS2:Fight Night Round 2, Final Fantasy 10, Narutimett Hero 3.

I can barely go two days without playing something, and I always get a craving for a new game every few weeks. I'd say I'm in between casual and hardcore -- casual enough to not let it take over, but hardcore enough to drop at least $100 every couple of weeks.
