God, this tutorial isn't helping me at all. I try to keep practicing, but the roof of the car is always too round.

Don't think round in steps 1-5. Just draw a random straight line to create a top shape for the windshield. In step 5, you should start the line by drawing it slightly curved but mostly straight, then you should make a sharp curve down at the end. Practice makes perfect my friend. First time ain't always cake.
