Don't you find it strange that whenever you sleep you're breath smells? You didn’t eat anything. You didn’t do anything wild. Then you wake up with you're breath smelling like shit. So why does you're breath smell whenever you sleep? I believe that someone comes into you're room and does a dump in you're mouth when you sleep. It's the only theory that makes sense.

I don't have that problem. Maybe you shouldn't eat so close to bed time. And brush your teeth before you sleep. That's the only solution that makes sense.

No, you're definitely wrong martryn. Obviously people takes poops in the mouths of sleeping people, causing this problem. You just must have a very good lock on your door.

(I haven't looked this up, but here is how I imagine it works. Correct me if I am wrong, anyone who actually knows why this happens :P)

The anaerobic bacteria in your mouth proliferate when you sleep and do not breathe through your mouth (when your mouth is closed it is an anaerobic environment). Also, even if you are a snorer/mouth-breather, you do not swallow very often while sleeping, and you do not drink anything, obviously, so the spit in your mouth isn't rinsed out or recycled as often as while you are awake. The spit just sits and sits, eventually losing much of its moisture and getting stale. I can't imagine that old spit smells very good, so that is probably another factor.

P.S. I don't think this is a very philosophical thread :laugh

SMelly mouths and sleeping...

All it is is bacteria in your mouth multiplying at night. It then makes your breath smell bad. Stinky breath = lots of germs in your mouth.

I should try and put a lock on my door when I go to sleep.
I didn't eat anything before going to bed and I drunk so much that it probably killed all the bacteria in my mouth but then when I woke up my breath still smelled bad! :(
