The super strong sick character vs. the super strong old guy

This is a Battle of the stronger stereotype(say for instance, if you were to portray someone as sick and someone as old, which is generally depicted as stronger?) not actual characters

Sick people include:
The Elric brothers teacher(FMA)
Captain Ukitake(Bleach)
Grove(Vampire D)
Kimimaro(Naruto)
Hayate(Naruto)

Elderly:
Roshi(DB)
Sandaime(Naruto)
Yamamoto(Bleach)
Netero(HxH)
Tung fu rue(Fatal Fury)
Gen(SF)
Shun Di(VF)

Well you should include the following:

Kyoshiro (Death Disease) yet very strong

and old people:

Dohko from Saint Seiya probably the strongest

Grove is a character from Vampire Hunter D : Bloodlust

He is a sick/dieing man, but has the ability to make his spirit 'leave' his body and attack, while out of his body, the spirit is able to create several glowing spheres every few seconds, each sphere is able to explode creating a light beam effect that melts through his enemys.

D was able to hurt this spirit twice using his sword, i guess Yamamoto would be able too but i guess the others would fall to him.
