I disagree. Setting aside that the hxh-verse is more powerfull in general, i don't think Illumi can take down one of the strongest characters in Naruto.

Illumi is a Zaoldyeck so I wouldn't underestimate him even though we haven't seen him go all out yet.

I'm also saying that it's debatable if he can take on any of the strongest Naruto characters, like Itachi. I am not doubting that he can take ANY Naruto character.

And i'm not implying that the Ryodan can't take any of the Naruto characters. In contrary, I think they are in general superior to Naruto characters.

Ah, i see that i forgot to add strongest in my first post, since i think Itachi is one of the strongest in Naruto.

Well, we havent seen much of Illumi so we can only speculate at this point. I respect your opinion. Its just that for me, base on his relationship with Hisoka, he might possibly be near Hisoka's level. Plus the fact that he's a Zoldick and seem to be the "third in command" of the family business. So I think he's strong and Im pretty positive that he'll easily beat Itachi.

thats right in physical strenght he's more than killua but what about the 2 most powerfull techniques of itachi does it will affect illumi?
for example tsukiyomi genjutsu that is impossible to despell and amaterasu the black flame w/c burns everything.
or if illumi throws pin but he landed it on itachi's bunshin then holds irumi up
then he burns irumi with amaterasu without irumi's alternative because he can't do bunshin

I would think that Illumi(and the rest of the Zoldicks) has also gone through the same amount of torture and pain as Killua have. So I dont think Tsukiyomi will work against him. Amaterasu on the other hand is troublesome if it hits him, but what's to stop Illumi from throwing his pins all over Itachi's face before Itachi unleashes it?

Remember, the pins are the only ability weve seen from him. We havent seen his other ability or seen him go all out. And considering how the manga portrays him, I do think that when he does show us all of his abilities or when we see him fight, that he would be really strong. Way too strong for Itachi.

yeh you're almost right i think the pin of illumi is infinite unlike in naruto which place their weapon on their belt bag. and the pain that illumi screw his large pin on his body specially on his head in hunter exam that was really painfull and he take it. maybe he's a master of pain..

so maybe genjutsu will not work for illumi so i think the hundreds of ninjutsu (ex. katon no jutsu or amaterasu) to keep illumi burn into peaces:S maybe only:)
