Ok this is a what if fight.

Its full potential Superboy “Conner Kent” (aka Kon-El)

vs.

Full potential God Like Cable “Nathan Christopher Charles Summers” (aka Soldier X)

Hmmm, this could be a very good match up although it depends on a couple things.

1. Can Superboy's Tactile Telekinetic field block mind raping and the like? If it cant Cable takes this match quite easily. Unless #2 is true

2. Does full potential Kon-El posses Superman's super speed? From what we have seen of Superboy so far, he is fast but not a speedster like Superman. However, he has been gaining more and more of Superman's powers lately like heat vision and super hearing, so its not unrealistic to say that he could get super speed like Superman too. If Superboy has Superman's speed, he speedblitzes Cable and wins this easily before Cable even forms a thought.

Unless someone else knows wheither or not those are true or false (Im not a complete expert on either so I could be forgetting something), I'll assume that Superboy can block Cable's mind invasion and Superboy does not possess Superman like speed (while still very fast from what hes shown as a kid). This makes the battle very close in my opinion. Superboy has more raw strength and power, but Cable has a wider variety of powers and tricks up his sleave and the battle experience to use them effectively.

Under these conditions Im gunna give it to Superboy barely, 5.5/10. Mainly because I think Cable would tire out before Superboy would, but it would be one hell of a battle.

Godlike Cable is just a bit lower than The Silver Surfer in pure power. He also had to deal with the surfers super speed (which is more or less Superman speed)

Godlike Cable would probably detect any hostile intent moving towards him at superspeed quickly enough so that he's able to not be speedblitzed.

I think Cable could take this (probably) simply because he's got a very wide array of powers and is a nasty SOB.

If full potential superboy possesses all of superman's powers (he's been slowly getting them), tack that on to his own tacticle telekinesis and he's going to be one of the most powerful beings on earth.


But he's still a hothead and cable has the advantage of experience in spades...

I think cable would win even without his telekinesis... he'll just mindrape superboy.
