A Rock Vs A Tree Who Would win?

A rock the size of a tree would win, because it's harder.

A tree vs a small normal sized everyday rock, would win, since it's bigger.

I've seen the roots of trees pwn rocks, however a hatchet made with a rock could hack down a tree, hence DRAW.

Paper's made out of trees, and thus trees beat rocks since paper covers rock.

Trees are overrated. Algae over the ocean produces most of the world's oxygen. Anyways, you realize you have to chop down a tree, and mash it into pulp in order to make paper right?

I think by definition, if you get chopped down and beated into a pulp, you lose.

If we're talking about a tree vs. a rock of the same Volume, a rock would win. Same mass, and its more questionable but a rock would most likely win.

In terms of usefulness, Wood has many uses(paper/lumber), but so do rocks(tools/masonry). Rocks can spark and light a forest on fire...so...:P

Alright how about this, 50 meter rock marble (beacuse its a vary soft rock to = it out) and a 50 meter redwood smile-big hows that for details.

Well if you're talking about combat rock would win?
Trees are more productive though.

But maybe rocks were more productive in the stone age.. hmm

It all depends on what manner of force..

If Rock had an axe, Tree = pwned
but Rock can only have axe if Rock = hands, which is a false statement.
and even IF Rock had hands to hold axe, Rock = no arms = no force to swing hands which hold axe = Rock pwned

Trees rule, I mean, they kick sooooooo much butt. I saw on National Geographic, a tree killed a spider. USING A POISONOUS SAP!!!!

Rock<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Tree

Rocks are inanimate, and thus immortal. Trees can die. The rock just has to sit there and wait for the tree to get struck by lightning. Rock wins.

Well. rocks just looks on trees and they die.

Have you ever wondered why the rocks are just laying around in forest? That's becouse they are killing trees by looking at them. And hell, what do you know, a few houndred years of that endless staring, and the tree dies.

Fantastic.

A rock can only become an axe with prep time, which is not specified. In addition, said rock axe would require a wielder, and no allies are specified. Furthermore, the battlefield is not specified. This is important because in a vacuum (one of many examples) a tree would die. So:

Prep time?
Allies?
Battlefield?

Battlefield? :scrachhead At sea! and Allies a lion for the tree and a tiger for the Rock

The rock would totally kick the trees ass. I mean it can actually move without dying. Plus, smashing the rock would only make more rocks. A tree does not have that ability because acorns don't count.

The rock can not be defeated by the tree. The tree has no way of completely removing the rock from existence.
