Better Looking Gotei 13 Captains: First or Recent appearance?

The "Recent" alterations are:

Aizen without glasses and hair slicked back
Gin with his eyes open
Byakuya without the hair thing
Soi Fong in her military outfit
Kenpachi without his eyepatch
Mayuri without his mask and whatnot(Blue hair)
Komamura without his mask/Helmet
Yama-jii without his shirt and eyes open
Tousen in his sleeveless black outfit
(Hitsugaya, Ukitake, Shinsou, and Unohana havent changed so they're excluded)

oh and throw in Uruhara in captain uniform as "recent"

They all look better, imv. My girlfriends disagree about Aizen, insisting he was smexier with the dorky librarian look, but eeeee, I loved it when he crushed his own glasses and went for the greasy evil look.
Byakuya definitely looks HOT without the hair noodles, and the angsty backstory really gave him more appeal.
Kenpachi without the bells and eyepatch! Who would've thought he could be good looking!????
Mayuri... eep. I am very uncomfortable about finding him attractive. Why did Kubo have to draw him butt naked too???? :cry
Tousen looks better showing some skin. Buckethead and Yama-ji I could care less about in terms of looks, but the "changes" added to their character, I suppose. Not every guy in Bleach has to be a hottie, but ALMOST every guy is... makes you wonder if Kubo Tite is writing with one eye on the girl audience! :nuts

Aizen's transformation into pretty!villian was pretty dramatic...
but Byakuya has been pretty and arrogant since day one so <3

hitsugaya and his vice in school uniforms are the best IMO.

Aizen looks better with the "Superman" look, but he was better as a character with the "timid, kind man" look -- it really added to his character.

Komamura with the bucket on his head looks better than without. I was expecting him to be horribly scarred, but he's just an overgrown half-man half-fox/wolf thing.

Tousen's got the badass vibe without the white robe.

Kenpachi looks about the same. Then again, Kenpachi kicks ass anyway.

I prefer Mayuri without the mask on. He looks like a freak with it on, although that's partially the point, I think he looks cooler without it.

Kisuke easily looks better with the capt. robe. Looks like some elite dude rather than the bum that he looks like in his green outfit.

Yama-jii without shirt looks like Master Roshi, goddamn.

Byakuya + hair decor looked pretty cool IMO, more of an elegant/classy type look.

Yes, Tousen looks badass without the robe.

Komamura looks stupid without the helmet. The helmet gave him a mysterious kind of dark feeling; his fox face is just dorky.

Umm.....Roshi is really skinny without his shirt. And to get ripped and muscular, he has to power up while Yamamoto is naturally ripped. :oh

Mayuri~Well he does kinda look like the old 12th (sandal hat)

Aizen -- I liked Aizen better first. Now he's just scary looking. Even though I know that's the point...I still don't like it.:doh
Gin -- Eh...I never thought much of him in the first place.
Byakuya -- Hottie extraoridinaire both ways, now with a new idea of the rules.
Soi Fong -- She got a lot more adorable and less intimidating looking. She looked more captain-y with the robes, but I like both.
Kenpachi -- Ken-chan is Ken-chan. He's still scary, but he still kicks ass too. :amuse
Mayuri -- Better. Way, way better. He was just creepy before. It's nice to know he has a real face.
Komamura -- Again, I was afraid he had no real face. Now I just associate him with puppies. :laugh
Yama-jii -- It gave him a lot more presence as the commander of the Gotei 13 to see him all powered up. But totally DBZ-esque. :)
Tousen -- I liked the old one.
Urahara -- I like the captain's robes, but I love his hat. So I'm torn.
