Who do you think will win the Super Bowl this year, out of all the contestents we have?
Indianapolis Colts: Have one of the most prolific offenses in NFL history.
New England Patriots: Play good on both offense and defense. Have won 10 straight playoff games.
Seattle Seahawks: Have one of the NFL's top offenses, and one of its top defenses. Haven't won a playoff game since 1984.
Cincinati Bengals: 1st playoff appearance since 1990. Lead NFL in interceptions
Denver Broncos:Start seasons off well, choke at the end of seasons.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Have a tendency to fly under the radar
Pittsburgh Steelers:This is the EXACT same team that won 15 straight last year. Pittsburgh is synonomous with defense
Chicago Bears: Pretender or contender?
New York Giants: Have a good offense, but their defense is suspect at times
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Terrible on offense, but amazing on defense
Washington Redskins:The most inconsistent team
Carolina Panthers: Super Bowl runner up 2 years ago
edit: I made this multiple choice. But, you can only vote once! You can't vote for multiple teams.

I would say Seattle, but the Pats are looking really good right now...

Patriots: Super Bowl Champions 3 of the last 4 years, and this year is Bill Belichick's best coaching season, IMO.

The Patriots are building momentum and are getting the necessary pieces to their team back. Right now they're on a roll, and I can see them making a run in the playoffs.

If there's one thing that I've learned in the past 4 years of watching the NFL, never count out Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. No matter what.

Go Broncos. they might have a chance. they are actually gonna get through the first week because they are in spot two and have a bye. I wanna see Broncos vs Bengals in AFC Championship because I think the Colts are going to crash hard. The NFc Championship will be Seahwks And Bears, but who cares about them. Nothing exiting happens in the NFC anyway. Broncos win...

I have to go with the Steelers, but if the Bungles get their defense back and beat Pittsburgh, my money's on them to roll through the playoffs.

New England comes in with momentum but without a defense.
Indianapolis comes in having not played a meaningful game in four weeks, and with a head coach who just lost his son.
Denver is somehow faltering.
Jacksonville has no quarterback.

Seattle has a shot.
Chicago is out unless Rex Grossman becomes Tom Brady in a hurry.
Tampa has been rather weak all season.
And there's no one else even close in the NFC.

New England's defense is one of the best, but sadly they lost 2 important defensive guys on there team, in the Jets vs. Pats game.

DVOA disagrees with you. (http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/teamdef.php)
So do conventional stats. (http://www.nfl.com/stats/teamsort/NFL/DEF-TOTAL/2005/regular?sort_col_1=4&_1:col_1=5)

The playoff picture hasnt even been completed yet. I wouldn't be suprised if the Bears and Seahawks both lost their playoff game. The NFC is unpredicatable as of right now.

"New England comes in with momentum but without a defense."

NE comes in with momentum because the defense is playing better football. Sure, the stats you linked show how badly NE has played D this year, but with the return of key players in the front 7, the D is far, far better. (Bruschi and Samuel look to be fine for the playoffs even though they got injured vs the jets) This is evident by the way they've stuffed the run the past few weeks. The ONLY thing missing on this defense that worries me from last years team is Harrison. NE has proven it can win without Law but how many key db's can we play without until we start getting torched in the playoffs?

New England doesn't have a defense? This is the team that gave up only 3 points to a team that averaged over 30 points per game last year. This is a team, that has led the league in defense the past few years. This is a team that has shut out the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who have an underrated offense. They could have easily beaten the Jets by a wider margin, but the patriots don't blow teams out. Bill Bellichek doesn't like to run up the score.

They haven't exactly played premier rushing teams. The Jets and Bills have been terrible on the ground for most of the season, and Cadillac is one of the most inconsistent runners we've seen (he had four other games with well below three yards per carry).

And they still have to defend against the pass, which, of course, they can't.
