Wow. I really liked this a lot. I don't often read fics posted on this forum--I find them via LJ communities, for the most part since fanfiction.net is a royal pain to browse--but this was one of the exceptions. You can thank your title for that. At first I thought it was a bad rip-off of a good novel, but when I read the fic it worked perfectly.

This fic was great on several levels. It's informative, especially for someone like me who, despite spoiling herself like crazy on these forums, is actually quite behind on the series. I really liked the history bits about the clans, Kages, and Sannin. I also really liked your perspective and writing style. It seems detached from the story, yet it's so introspective and frank that it's amazing. You have an ability to be funny without even trying, which is especially evident in part 22 with Konohamaru and Hanabi's Chuunin fight.

Wonderful. I loved it. And zomg, I so totally read Mirror Image back in the day when I was in my Zoids Shinseiki/Zero phase. I remember loving it even back then. You really are a great writer. I envy you... >.<*

Read Death's Precipice right after this one. Wow. I think the line that won me over was "And now Rock Lee understood why Maito Gai acted like an idiot" or something along those lines. I never thought of it that way till then.

Yah, Hanabi vs. Konohamaru ws one of the highlights. I also really liked the ones about Anko's animosity towards Shizune and what would've happened if Obito had lived.
