the way Aizen looked BEFORE he took off his glasses and changed his hair? I dont know if it's just me, but I found Aizen to be a much creepier villian WITH the oddly friendly look he had before. The way he had that outward appearace where he always smiled and talked so calmly and yet was so evil on the inside made him a more unique villian, at least to me.

Yes, but that was when he had something to hide. Now he can be blatantly evil.

I agree, he looked better before. His unsuspecting look only added to the evilness.

You guys are crazy. For the fact that you guys know he is a villian now is the reason why you're saying that. His new look matches perfectly with his evilness. I like the way he looks now. So badass. If Aizen was introduce from the begining as evil with his glasses and all, most of you guys would still complain and talking about how he looks like a dork for a villian.

he still looks like a good gentleman without his glasses and it was about time he combed his hair even if it was just with his hand.

did Aizen have gel in his hands? wtf? is that....? what's he using to slick back his hair?
Anyway, i thought it was cool, he was just using fake lenses in his glasses.

I think before he looked kind of psychotic evil where as now he's just bad ass, I definately prefer he's appearance now though.

While everyone including viewers were under his hypnosis, he stuck his hand down his pants got himself his "own" gel. He then removed the hypnosis as if he natruly slicked his hair back to make his -bad ass- points go up even further without the embarresment of everyone seeing how he truly did itsmile-big

He didn't need gel to slick it back, when your hair(or at least my hair) gets that long, when you pull it back, it stays that way.
Honestly, him smiling baring his teeth with his glasses creeped me out. Now, I think he looks alright. Meh, Komamora looked better with the cage. On the other hand, Mayuri looks better with blue hair.

They did it perfectly. The fact that they gave him glasses to begin with and made him seem soft hearted had everyone puzzled. Which I am sure the artist wanted to do tht, not to give away the plot so easily. Plus on top of that when we did find out Aizen was the mad man behind the whole thing, he put even more of a evil twist to his being by killing his vice-captain. Now that just made him as twisted as ever, having the innocent look but t
he twisted mind. It made for a perfect villain not to be recond with.
After he took the glasses off, I think now he looks even less of a villain, because now he has the common villain look, it was almost like a downgrade to me. But we will just have to see what he does now.

Hey, I wouldn't complain. Although, yes, I do like his current look also.:)

For some reason, I think the new look won't be lasting long after he probably unites himself with a hollow.

i bet the hogoukyou thingy to unite with a hollow still requires buttsecks :D hahahhaha

It was so lame when he slicked his hair back..-.-

That's similar to Gin's constant smile. I think it adds depth to their characters as villians.

I like him both ways. But him in glasses and that oh-so-charming smile just sets my teeth on the edge, kind of like Gin. You just know he's got something up.

With the glasses he had that warm wholesome feeling that usually comes with a teacher or older friend... Right before they molest you.
I prefer Aizen without the glasses. He doesn't look like a great shinigami to me at first with that thick frame glasses but right after he combed his hair and took of his glasses, wow he looks great and evil. I like the new look of his. It makes him looks better and more evil.

Nah. I hated him with his Emo look.
Then he got the Superman look, cause he is a superman. Aizen is so tight after his emo glasses are gone.

You make a good point.
Its just rooted in the fact that some/most people feel like when they have a major change, they then try to change their self that didnt change (inside/outside).
Yea...nevermind.. :S

I like the way he looks with the new style more just because of the way it fits how he is currently trying to show. He dropped the creepy "Micheal Jackson has nothing on me" look to gain the "Mess with me and I'll gut you like a fish" badass look which I think looks best.

The contradictions in the character art? Yeah, I'm a fan of it as well...although I do like his new style. Not quite as creepy, but an aura of badassness is required, too. Overall, I like it.

He went from Emo to Greaser. Out of the two of those, wich one would you least want to fight?
The only thing I have a problem with is his ridiculous little jacket he wears. The guy's the major bad arse of the series he should be wearing something regal and over the top. So why does he have on a Members Only jacket?

Was I the only one who realized he totally ripped that hair-slick-back move off of Vergil from Devil May Cry 3?

Actually he did in the manga, but it's really easy to miss. I didn't catch the slicking-back panel until after seeing the anime episode.

No, he ripped it off of Superman. Aizen's removal of glasses, slicking back of hair (complete with classic S-lock of hair on forehead) and changing of his voice ("boku" to "watashi") is exactly how Superman changes his appearance. Aizen is evil Superman, just as Sephiroth is evil Jesus (Jenova, Jehovah... not a coincidence) and Jango from One Piece is less evil Michael Jackson while Orochimaru is more evil Michael Jackson.

I think he looked creepier with his glasses. It's the way he smiled... just showed some teeth without his expression actualy changing. Definately had a friendly-faced-pyscho vibe.
He was more evil when he was still pretending to be nice and polite, too, calling everyone "-kun" and so on despite almost killing four characters and plotting to raise an army to kill everyone else
He does look badass now, but he's kinda lost his uniqueness. He doesnt seem to have any personality now he's ditched his facade

I liked Aizen's older look more as well. His new fonzie look (sans the leather jacket) isn't really doing it for me.
