View Full Version : Comparing manga to anime
Do we have a thread here that lists the differences between the anime and manga? I know there are quite a bit; such as what happened in the latest anime episode. If not a thread, then maybe a site?
From my view point, there is no difference.

Acually there is soem stuff. You could always try reading chapter 25 there is somethign quite important anime didn't show. There is one more thing they didn't show although I don't remember what chapter that was.
For the lazy guys, do'nt know if its a spoiler so well:amuse :
Chapter 25 shows what happens to grand fisher after escaping Ichigo and the other thing on chapter XX was something about Rukias gigai i think
There's also stuff like Tousen. His background was never really explained in the anime; while it was in the manga.

The anime is the manga with color and voices. There is no extra animation whatsoever.

There are many differences with the beginning of the anime and the beginning of the manga. Not plot or character altering, but differences nonetheless.
Unlike the manga, the anime:
-Has two hollows in the first episode and one attacks that little ghost girl Ichigo helps
-The hollow in ep. 1 attacks Karin in the anime rather than Yuzu
-Anime leaves out a lot of pervertedness with Tatsuki (towards Orihime liking Ichigo) and Chizuru (towards her liking Orihime)
-The anime actually shows some Vastoorode in the beginning of episode 8
-The anime seems to have this gigantic evil hollow voice commanding all the Hollows in the earlier episodes
-The anime left out a rather important scene with Grand Fisher
-The anime leaves out this one part where Soul Society scientist experiment on Rukia's gigai and discover something
-The anime leaves out Tatsuki and Orihime's final good-bye talk, Ichigo and co.'s final good-bye talk at the fireworks show before Soul Society, and Ichigo's final good-bye to Kon before Soul Society
-Anime left out Jidanbou vs. Aizen's three other gate guads
-Anime misses some of Tousen's past
-Anime extended the Kaien and Hinamori/Renji/Izuru flashbacks and actually showed Aizen and Gin save them from those giant Hollows (in the manga, you never see them fight)
