Franky just sounds too much like Bon Clay. It really doesn't fit him at all. I mean, Jango's voice was very different from Bon Clay, so why not Franky? (note: all three were played by the same person)

I think he makes a pretty good Franky

Except for the scene where he gets hit by the Sea Train and says he wants to build an invincible ship...Kazuki Yao just can't do serious lines and his voice still came off as goofy there, killing off some of the impact of the scene :noworry

Ya I personally dont like his voice. Dont know why but it bugs me.

I think it's good for the non-serious moments, and he has lots of those.

Franky's voice sounds fine. He is wierd, and his voice is wierd.

His Bon Clay is awesome. It only bothers me that he and Franky sound so alike.

The similarity between Franky and Bon Clay really comes out when Franky is singing. Still, I like his voice. It's kinda rough, something you would expect from a hard living, gangster type.

I think Franky's voice suits him well. It sounds rugged but at the same time it's crazy. It fits his personality well, just like Bon clay but Bon Clay also sounded more affeminite. The VA's in OP are all amazing imo.

Kazuki Yao is the voice actor for Bon Clay and Franky. I prefer his current Franky voice as he sounds a lot more similar to another character he voiced, Bunshichi Tawara in Tenjou Tenge. He sounds really cool when he isnt being goofy an all. He one of those voice actors you'll recognise almost instantly that its him who's voicing a character, sorta like Suiichi Ikeda or Houchu Ohtsuka (Jiraya VA). It kinda funny that I put compared Kanzuki Yao to these two voice actors as they all voiced famous gundam characters, Ikeda voiced Char/Quattro, Ohtsuka voiced Yazan and Kazuki Yao voiced the Judau Ashta:laugh
