The fangroup of Karas, anime-kraze have been subbing the first episode of Karas in pure DVD quality. The episode was to be found earlier than their torrentrealese but they didn't like the ugly, disgusting quality of the first RAW that was out so they decided to rip the episode as soon as it came out on DVD so this means they're (probably) always waiting for the DVD's to get out in stores then sub it.

Yes, they've only subbed the 1:st episode of it. But i was searching for Karas at play-asia.com and they've got 3 episodes out already (DVD). I don't know why they aren't out yet and subbed though... maybe they already are but i would prefer good quality.

But hey, if you found more than just he 1:st episode in DVD-AC3 quality just post it here :amuse

I just finished episode 2 man I love this series! when it first came out I couldnt wait until they subbed it so i watched it with french subs as I figured my basic french + basic Japanese = some vague understanding...

So do you know when the next episode will be out? im unsure as to how many dvds have been released in japan so im not sure when to expect a subbed version

At the moment, no idea. They tend to give us monthly releases as far as i can see... also, subbing the episodes depends on the group. They have priorities, such as school, death in family, free time etc. etc.
But i would guess the next episode comes somewhere in the mid-end of february. Of course i will be here and send a message to all members when it's availible.

Its a great series its hard to stay passionate about it seeing as the episodes are so rare and just few and fair between... but still a great series!

I agree, of course. Subbed is always better than dubbed. But the dub on this anime actually isn't too bad. Either that, or KARAS is so good that it doesn't matter what language it's in, as long as it's still Karas. :P

I don't know about the sub always being better than the dub. I prefer the English Full Metal Alchemist over the Japanese dub.
