CP9 1 on 1 fights?

Wow, I haven't posted on Naruto Forums in ages. Anyway, I notice that there are 6 remaining CP9 members and 6 strawhats. Looks like a good time for a bunch of one on one matches! Who do you think will be matched up with who, and how the heck are the strawhats going to win? From my observation, only Luffy and Zoro will be able to do anything to CP9. Sorry if there was already a thread on this!

I disagree with the Luffy/Zoro theorum, Kaku noted that Sanji's kicks were almost powerful enough to break through beuno's tekkai, so I foresee a situation similar to the 'Zoro's breath' part, where he remembers something Zeff tried to teach him and powers up his attacks...

As for the one on one thing, I think Luffy, Zoro, Sanji and Maybe Ussop(Needs a big win) or chopper (Is fairly strong) will fight one on one, with the other teaming with nami, similar to the Ussop/Chopper ight in Alabasta...

*sigh* Sanji is soooooo underrated over here, its depressing.
He was the first one to push Tekkai to its breaking point ffs.

Usopp will prove he can be godly, like he did against Luffy.

Nami will somehow get lucky, and maybe those dials that Usopp put on her weapon will make it have some uber attack. She may get Robin's help as well?

Chopper will most likely find a weak point in the styles, and win.

Sanji has always been near Zoro's tier. Don't underestimate him, especially with Kitchen Knives.

Zoro we all know is good.

Luffy is godly, gears!




So don't say only Luffy and Zoro can do anything.

not sure about the rest..Jyabura was pretty sure he would be way up in the ranks because of his devil fruit. I think he will be the second strongest after he uses it. Especially since he seems to have a vendeta against Lucci.

Luffy and Lucci needs no explanation.

Usopp vs Kaku... well, this is a big Usopp arc, I think him fighting a joke character like Fukurou would be a waste of a such pwningful potential. kaku is the one that gave Merry the death sentence and the one that pushed 'er over, not to mention the long noses. I'm not too sure of this, but dammit, I really hope so.

Since two of the "big three" (devil's fruits aside) CP9ers are already taken, that leaves Jyabura to fight Zoro or Sanji. I'm not leaning either way here, so I'm not even going to try to narrow it down. As countless people have already said, Jyabura is sporting the martial arts/Tao Pai Pai look, so his style would probably suit either Zoro or Sanji just fine.

Yeah, Spandam is super weak, but something tells me he has some form of self defense aside from the other CP9 members... something ridiculous like his elephant turning into a giant mecha. Franky will still Ultimate Hammer him pretty hard though.

Robin vs. Buster Call is just a suggestion I heard not too long ago that I kind of liked... I'm not so sure how strong the vice-admirals will be, so it's a tough guess to make. Still, with so much going on I think she can't afford not to fight back, and I think this would be a good way for her character to start getting over the previous Buster Call trauma. However, this isn't a solid hypothesis so much as it is me saying what I might like to see.
