Poor old Abarai kun (spoilers are welcome)

I'm not sure if someone else mentioned this but I want to talk a couple of things about Renji... First of all I think most people find him cool(or used to, like me, thats where i am coming with this thread) coz he looks cool, he is determined, he cares about others, he is a bit rude but has pure hearth, his voice actor is also Chouji's and so on... But what is wrong with this guy or better to say this way, why don't people who prepare this anime like him...
He didin't win any of is figths tilll now instead he got pwned tragically in all of them. Ichigo in his newbie shape pwnd him first,then he did again in Soul Society, then Byakuya(That was the most Tragic one of all) then Aizen... I wonder if his bad luck will break and start to own some people. I think he seems to have entered a one way track that leads to being pwned all the time. What u think about this ?

lol yeah He's basically the punching bag that get's powerful just a tad behind all the other big names :amuse. I dunno, I think he's gonna pull out of this one though.

Same like Hitsugaya. They just dont get to win. Perhaps, they are saving the best for the last.

I like his Zabimaru a lot and have high expectations towards him but maybe his time to shine is not here yet.

Yes, it does seem like Renji is destined to lose his battles, he is terribly unlucky, but to be fair, "newbie" Ichigo didn't exactly "pwn" Renji pre-SS, just surprised him really, he was being careless, but yes- Renji appears to be Kubo's punching bag, poor guy just can't win.

He just needs more training with his Bankai. He's strong, but let's face it he's been fighting opponents that are stronger than him. Byakuya was way stronger, and Ichigo has too much determination. And now he's fighting Arankarus, who are even stronger than captains themselves. His opponents have not been easy at all.

Yea I kinda agree on that but Renji Doesn't make me say "Wow" despite the fact Rock Lee does. You remember Rock Lee-Gaara fignt right? Gaara won the fight but I am sure everone thought Rock Lee deserved the win for all his effort and cool moves. However I think Renji didn't deserve any wins up to now( Maybe he could have beat up Ichigo back on Earth, so the fight in Soul ociety could be more meaningfull).

^Renji tried just as hard as Lee when fighting Byakuya. Despite taking a bankai, and getting his zanpaktou destroyed he still went after byakuya.

And true renji always gets oponents we KNOW he can't beat. All the cool characters gets thrown aside. Same with chad I mean wtf he was amongst the strongest when they walked into soul society now he isn't even cared about.

He continues to lose but i STILL havent liked one of his opponents as much as i like him. I do believe eventually they will HAVE to make him strong enough to pull off a meaningful fight. Even if he just took somebody all the way to the limits like Kenpachi did Ichigo it would have at least made me somewhat happy. He's still my fav male character and i'm sure he always will be. Oh yeah Renji is cool!!

Of course 'cause Ichigo is the main character, he beats everyone he fights or at least puts up a good enough fight and survives. As long as Renji survives he will get stronger.

besides renji just reach his bankai and havent fully get used to it.

It is kind of depressing that Renji keeps getting his ass kicked, but I think it's almost one of the things that endears people to him. We all want him to do super good really soon.

I think he's going to start kicking major ass soon. Not as much as Ichigo, because Ichigo needs to remain the strongest and most determined person in the series.

But Renji will act as a nice stimulus for Ichigo while he's still in the material world. Especially since he's allowed to lift the limit now. :amuse

that actually irritated me, after all the bigging up about him being "the child prodigy" he got beet in 1 blow lol

and yeah renji needs to get some winning on the go, i find him really cool even though he has lost all the time.

hey guys actually this is win number 2, we tend to forget he completely beat the hell out of Ishida when he was original intruduced. If not for Ichigo Renji would have killed Ishida.
