Troublesome

I was wondering why some words are shortened when pronounced (well it sounds that way).

for example:
Kakashi-sensei -> Kakash-sensei
Raikiri -> Raiki

These are the ones off the top of my head but I'm sure there is more.
Thanks in advance. I'm guessing this is the right place to put it.

it's just the way they say it. if a language is not your native touge, you will alsways speak all of the letters in the word-because the voice actor's tounge is japanese, they will speak it smoothly, while say someone like me will say it slower making sure that i've pronunced properly

that's all nothing big, basically they say it fast and it's kinda hard for us to understand it if we dont speak the language but to ppl who do, they'll understand it fine so dont worry about it
