This is getting really confusing.

You know what I'm talking about -- if not, read the frikkin' thread title! I would like to know which forum members are actually gay, and which are just faking for effect.

Case Studies.

Not sure: KK. I'm guessing he's joking about the gay thing, since I vaguely remember he has a girlfriend or something? I am rather certain of two members being lesbians (not occa and KnK, they're bi I think--love conquers all, eh? :)), however lesbians don't tend to crack all the "omg put a big cock in my ass h3h3h3h3 I transgressed social boundaries" jokes.

This post is NOT meant in any way to encourage bigotry or homophobia, which I find distasteful (except if it's really funny). IMO, sexuality is a spectrum, not a binary operation, and people have all sorts of tendencies, but tend to fall on one side or the other. That's cool -- I just wanna separate out the fakers from the authentic.

To those who would say "why does it matter?" --> It doesn't, really, I'm just curious.

I believe there was a thread like this once before, though I have no idea as to where it has fallen in the field (ie: I'm too lazy to search).

I wouldn't exactly say I'm heterosexual, though I do have a girlfriend of 2 1/2 years. But I'm most definitely not homosexual, either. I would say I'm fairly bisexual as far as putting me on a specific side. Though, I really don't care what people's interest is, I'm fine with it.

In many fandoms, the BNFs are usually scary, scary fangirls that write yaoi fanfiction. In order to be popular in said fandoms, boys might play the gay card. I've seen some girls pretend to be gay boys online for this very reason. It gets attention, and the slobbering adoration of a lot of fangirls.
I think I may have exposed this particular virus on a larger scale to NF through my shameless whoring of all things gay and encouragement that we all let our our inner homosexual. Like, the seeds of this trend were already there, but I nurtured it. WOE.
