A decent episode, not a lot going on. But, the dub covered it well with the blood and all, and followed the sub very closely in this episode. Episodes like this give me more reasons, why the dub is good. I came on because the One Piece dub is on right now XD

Yeah I think that was Mona Marshall there as young Haku, and I believe she also does Inari.

This episode was great. ^^

I loved everything about it (minus the flashbacks, but those were already in the original, and I wasn't very happy about those either), and I was really happy with the acting in this one. I almost didn't notice the "Believe it"'s because they were so well placed (and not in odd places in sentences), and I was really really happy with the comedy part of it. Naruto's such a dummy sometimes... but you really gotta love him.

I'm so pleased that they kept Kekkei Genkai. I think I jumped up and down on the bed and screamed for a couple seconds before getting back down on the bed.

It was really a good episode, despite lack of action. Great pre-mainfight episode.

Did that make sense?

Ah well.

I know that they kept kekei genkai or whatever, but did I actually hear Iruka (I think that was him narrating the flashback) use the term for a female ninja for Sakura when he was introducing her? :amazed

This particular episode went by too quickly (probably because of the flashbacks*cough*filler). Overall, this episode was as great as the japanese version (minus the edits in the flashbacks*cough*filler). Well done Viz!:thumbs

Not the best episode, but it never was. A boring episode in the original is going to be a boring episode in the dub.

One of my bigest complaints with Naruto as a whole is all the flashbacks and clips of past episodes. It drags down this series.

Haku's little kid voice made me twitch. So.... NOT what Haku sounds like. They could have had a better choice....... Haku's VA is sooo awesome to be brought down by that.

And the flashbacks were annoying, but whatever.

Haku's voice is actually the best so far of any dub character...

Also they seemed to of broken that dumb tradition established on episode 2 and are now using "die", "kill", "Dead", "death", etc....Sounds much better.

OK this episode was bad, not because of the dub but because of the weak story and bad animation(but thats more the fault of the budget and I would wrather they spend their money on animating fights and stuff as opposed to when they are standing and talking).

Hurray! Naruto pulled an Inuyasha today! Instead of forwarding the story at all, the good ol' anime crew decided to recap the entire series randomly! YA!
I liked everything else about the episode though. YA! the voices are really growing on me I have top say. YA!

No, no. I think it was just you, actually.

They're American. They're going to have American accents when saying Japanese words, just like Japanese people have accents when they're saying anything in English. Look at how that one kid said "Shooting Star" in the episode with the flashbacks of Inari. Did he say "Shooting Star" with a perfect American accent? No. It was "shuutingu staa".

Accents are going to make words sound odd, and unless you're from said country or are perfectly fluent in the language (aka Yuri Lowenthal, may God bless his beautiful soul), you're going to have an accent, and even if you try real hard, it's gonna be a slight accent regardless. But Naruto didn't call him Sas-gay.
