no. epedemics happen all the time all around the world. Because the epidemic stays in that region in dies out. Because of modern transportation the epidemics have become such a risk that they kill the chickes in a very big radius. People have to quarentine better but the chickes will still die in that place.

I view it just like Sars, Mad Cow, Monkey Pox and everything else that was supposed to kill us. Its a possibility, but not enough to one for me to disrupt the flow of my day.

Luckily we live in an age where information travels fast enough to contain most epidemics.
