Alright, I want any group to challenge the Gold Saints Group! you can't bring every character, the fighters should be in the same group meaning the fighters should be under the same name, for example if you are going to bring Luffy's Pirates you can use Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Ussop, Chopper, Nami, Robin people like Shanks, Ace...etc are not included!
And here are some rules:
* None cosmic characters should be included (Eternity, Galactus, Living Tribunal, Tenchi's universe characters, Lord Of Nightmares...etc)
* No more than 15 characters are allowed
* Gold Saints include the 12 Regular Gold Saints + Shion & Gemini Kanon
* Only anime and Manga's characters allowed

What are you talking about!! When Gold Saints became a cosmics beings, c'mon they are human beings! Cosmic beings are like Pyron, Galactus and the rest, people who can eat planets or destroy galaxies, and if people like them were in I know you guys would say Galactus will eat the planet and it's end of the story, actually there are groups who would stand a chance against them but you need to search them :) and you will be seeing them coming soon ;)
no comics because the JLA pre crisis might stand a chance.
That's because I don't know comics charactes, so I didn't include them. You guys know about American comics but we anime's fans don't know much :)

Z Fighters allowed, Team Uramashi allowed but not their friends
If you are going to use the Z Fighters you can use:
Goku, Vegeta, Trunks, Gohan, Goten...etc but not KaoiShin, Uub, Majin Buu...etc
Team Uramashi:
Yusuke, Hiei, Kuwabara, Kurama

If it's about alone the topic must be renamed who can defeat the Gold Saints, but I want official groups! do you know what I mean?

Apparentley...
Yeah he (Dancho) can predict the future with that skill he stole... he can steal ANY skill... Just has a few requirements(not sure if something like the mangekyo sharingan might fall into that, but I might).
Ubogin was the only one we saw go all out. A sword that easily cut through steal and melted it couldn't even do so much as make a cut 1/4th of an inch or so in his skin. Bullters are nothing, sniper rifle bullets he will notice. Missles and so on... His punch what was it? It had as much destructive force of a bomb? Forgot how many megatons they compared it to(or might be thinking something else...).
Shizukku got trapped... after she got out, she easily anazlyed everything about him(she seems to be quite smart and analyzes thing in detail) then just decided to suck his blood out... the fight was done for as quickly as that.
About Karuto being weak. I decided to re-read the chapter and well he isn't... sure he said that "I'm hopelessily weak compared to them!" after watching Feitan fight but then so are Akatsuki and Gotei 13...(maybe not hopelessly weak and maybe not against every memmber). But Karuto who is like what? 10? 13? The attack he did cut through steel rope with ease. He seems to use a combination of wind and paper doing very quick attacks that chopped off the ants arm them procceeded to do that to the rest of him... and he said "I should stop this bad habit of playing around." He can also do something Byakugya did with his swords, with his paper(paper that can cut steel with ease and fast speeds).
Then Boneferu's fight... well "You flee rather quickly...though it's nothing compared to the speed of sound..." after the ant was getting owned by him simply moving around... as whenver he moves, he transfers that into an attack. and the speed of sound called "Battle = Le cantabile" "Jupiter!" was like a 100 foot thing that crushed him leaving a giant crater... that alone made me realize how much you underrated them...
Sphinx disentigrated his opponent with a punch =\ Not much of a fight... nothign to say...
Feitan, ... well the opponent after being overwhelmed by speed finally got hit, then he got pissed... decided to us ehis "wide range" attack that cuased the other Ryodan to flee, disentigrated skin that could'nt be piereced before and well left nothing, not even ashes...
The manipulation guy. Well he's quite fast, very analytical, all it takes is to put the antanae on and the fight is over... he only had to use that 'antannae" on himeslf because the thing he put the antannae on was already being controlled by another manipulation user.
HxH is almost to th elevel of YYH in it's almost near(well not tha tnear in HxH as it is in YYH) DBZ-level characters...

Ok Ok relax. I just thought gold saints were stronger from hear-say, sorry.
Anyway my teams are within your rules, no cosmics. They re not strictly manga-anime, but I don't know about saints either, so there you go.
Team Demons:
Sesshomaru, Inuyasha, Xellos, Chrno, and all 9 of the Tailed Youmas.
Team Psychics:
Akira, Tetsuo, Elfen Lied chick, Legato
Team Lightsaber:
Darth Vador/Sidius/Tyrannus/Maul, Qui Gon, Obi Wan, Mace Windu, Yoda.
For those thant dont know.
Gold saints.
Move at the speed of light.
Hit at around class 70 ton.
Near Indestructable, armors.
And if 3 gold saints attack together they have an attack that equals the Big Bang in destructive power (its a small big bang to be exact)
Plus some real tricky opponents.

Wow, it seems you might just underestimate your Gold Saint's ^_^.
For one, each of the Saint's ARE Cosmic level, Light Speed>basically everything.
Seeing as they attack at this speed, there is no force in Anime/manga that ISN'T a cosmic level being that can stand up to it.
you should have more faith in them, no need to put them in fairly one-sided matches lol...
However, I will take a shot....
How about the team of Michael and Gabriel from the Manga Bastard!
Technically, they are on the level of Dark Schnider, however, a little lower. So, if he is not Cosmic, neither are they ^_^.
But honestly, this is a little one-sided lol..

I believe my primary team, Famous Sorcerers, can take them on, lightspeed and whatever.
There are spells that stop, slow, and accelerate time to counter gold saint speed.
Then you have mirror image, shields from elements, physical damage, dimension travelling, life draining, mind controlling.
And as for destructive capabilities go, they're on another league simply.

I think my primary team the Z fighters would be a good match. Both super fast, strong and can destroy the world (Athena Exclamation).

Your the supposed expert on them
There basicly Flash movement speed, Hulk hitting power and Thanos style toughness. Then you add there special abilities on top of that.
I'd put all of them on borderline cosmic level (some cosmic).

Well if you allow my sorcerers a reaction time (No saints kill you before your brain registers them) and give a fair fight, I believe they have enough power to kill them.
Elminster on defense, Macross the Black on time manipulation, Milamber on offense, Raistlin on status effects, Rand al thor is energy battery for all the other mages, Lina is defense ignoring damage with Ragna Blade.

I agree with Bubble. While Gold Saint are "humans" their abilities put automatically above any no-cosmic. How can someone fight against a guy who can move at light speed, that can alter the reality, that can steal your senses at will, that can freeze at absolute zero, that have physical strength similar or little below 100 tons, etc, etc?. Hell....only 3 gold saints are needed to do an Athena's exclamation....a technique with a power equal to the Big Bang. Can you imagine Gold Saints doing 4 Athena's Exclamation at the same time?...Or a Super Athena Exclamation done by all Gold Saints at the same time?..... Superman Prime sometimes is considered a cosmic and he still can't do many things that the Gold Saints can.

hm, yeah, from all the previous saint seiya battledome threads that i've read, i'd have to say all the gold saints are already AT cosmic level (even if they are just humans). Although maybe, just maybe, ydraliskos' team sorcerers might have a fighting chance if they are given prep time and a 5-second headstart to do anything they want before the gold saints start owning their sorry asses.

You say with without giving a meaning in the title of the thread, the only 'comic' that uses the word cosmic is marvel and there power is around the level of gold saints. Maybe its a case of YOU didn't know the meaning.

Dark Schneider, Sakura Kinomoto, Edward Elric and Alucard AKA Team Anime Spellcasters
Actually, DS is more than enough, and Sakura, with her Shield+ Erase combo will be a great asset for back up, Edward (with access to the Absolute Knowledge) is a formidable fighter, Alucard will be there to kill them while bitch-slapping them verbally. And all of them are protected by Dispell Bound
So go figure . . .

whats the deal with Akira, he wasn't all powerful, he had abilitys much like Tetsuo but he couldn't control them, the most damage he did was taking out alot of toyko. A gold saint could take out a planet.

When he comes He absorbs everthing around him
When he leaves He creates an Explosion that rivals a small "Big Bang"
If you get absorbed you dont come back.

On top it was done by one person not three.
Besides that, It fill out the requiremnt of non planet buster, non Saint Seiya, strickley Anime Character.
I chose the weaker version from the movie.
The manga Version I think it was stated he can Impolde/Explode the planets as well as part of the Universe!

Tetsuo was scared Akira's mind control (DNA?)...
only number 25, 26, 27 and 28 (Akira) to take him down Tetsuo.
so I think, (solo) Tetsuo > Akira.
Old Hag (Number 47 or 48, dunno) said Tetsuo is stronger.
but I really don't remeber.... I can't find my Akira Manga Scan CD Collections..
I think So Tetsuo wasn't dead, he is still alive, new recode "K9999".
