In college I first read 1984, which is one of teo books that brought orwell his worldwide fame. Ahem! At that time though, I dismissed the book.. like a fool would 1 penny given to him concurrently, and doubled over ten years, for a million dollars.
Anyway in one of my university classes we where suppose to choose a schoraly.. non pop culture book, and write a -insert whatever approach here- on it. I picked 1984, seeing as how I read it, I knew it be pie .
Now to the point, I read it again and was blown away. I had forgoteen how amazing the book was. Maybe back then I was just an ignorant fool, to drunk to understand:tem however, 1984 impressed me. So much. so , I decided to take out all of orwell books from the library. :amazed
I've finished reading Down and out in paris and a bunch of his essays and short stories already.
I'm planning to start reading Keep Flying Aspidia soon- (umm might have screwed up the title there, I don't have the book infront of me right now .)-I'm gonna read animal farm after the other seven I have.
Ahem! So is anyone an Orwell advocate like I have now become, someone please say yes or I will just die.:sad
