Seeing how Hitsugaya said that Ichimaru just wanted to kill Hinamori.. In the skirmish between her and kira probably means he knew that Kira would've been killed.

Seeing how Hinamori is a long distance fighter with her shikai abillity, I think it will kind of end up the same between Ikkaku vs Hina as Kira vs Hina.. When they try to get close you'll get a big ass shikai abillity thrown at you XD

Ikkaku is 3rd seat in the strongest squad, right below their VC.. Hinamori is an ordinary VC though stronger than how she appears. I'd say Hinamori's more likely to win but if Ikkaku's having a good day, he definitely has a nice chance.

Well, if you include recent Manga appearances, then
Hinamori is kind of comatose (or sleeping for a while because she doesn't have the willpower to get up), and Ikkaku has Ban Kai. Pretty one-sided right there.

Other than that, Hinamori may have a bit of an edge in a Shi Kai battle. Long Range blast and strong Kidou abilities place her at an advantage over Ikkaku, as he's limited to mostle close-range fighting. Neither have shown any superior speed, so all-in-all, Hinamori could probably keep her distance while blasting Ikkaku with Demon Arts/Tobiume's Energy attacks, forcing Ikkaku to dodge a barrage of attacks without much time to counter.

The opponent Ikkaku is fighting now is like Hinamori cubed. Volcanica's attacks make Tobiume's fireballs look puny in comparison, and Ikkaku has survived multiple direct hits. Ikkaku should be able to close the gap and slice her to bits.

In hitsugaya vs ichimaru, hinamori was in the way and I say if she wasn't there, him and Gin are pretty evenly matched.

Aizen must have an extremely high lvl of flash step, only matched by Soi fong / Yoruichi. Hitsugaya had no chance vs that. We'll see his true strength he fights the 11th arranchar.

Even despite the latest developments in the series, Ikkaku would take this easily.

Hinamori has never stuck me as a formidible fighter, skilled yes, but Ikkaku's a machine. It's that 11th Division bloodlust :P

Been stated numerous times that Hinamori is a master of demonic arts...however I'd have to say that for the most part those sort of skills only apply to combat with hollows who are rather brainless...I'd assume most Shinigami would be familiar with such skills and be able to counter them fairly easily

Shikai Ikkaku is lieutenant level, and considering his experience and power in melee, i say he has the advantage. I say he could dodge her long range attacks, and get in range fast enough to land a hit. After that it owuld only get easier. Shes not squad 11, she can only take so much damage.

She has not shown to be a swordmenship expert. Her skill in it must be more than decent conisdering her rank. Ikkaku however was skilled enough to have been Renji's treacher and has a history of pushing himelf to the limits battling any chance he came accross. He was good enough to fight at Kenpachis level in the past. Obviously Kenpachi wasnt as strong as he is now, but i doubt Momo could do the same, and Ikkaku didnt even have shikai back then let alone bankai. Simply possessing bankai should put his shikai level higher than most lieutenants, never mind his battle expierence, and superior skill.

Shikai Ikkaku takes this with mid to high difficulty.

Are you kidding me? How in the hell do you see Toshiro as even with Gin? Toshiro uses his bankai almost every time he fights, and he can't maintain it very long anyway. Gin hasn't even been seen using shikai that many times. Gin obviously has more skill, experience and spiritual pressure. Let's see Toshiro block more than one shot from Shinsō. Cuts through his ice wings, and his head.

Tell me what show have you been watching but name one Captain accept the Top 4 and naturally Zaraki who when fighting an Arrancar haven't used Bankai.
Byakuya: Used Shikai successfully ONCE IN THE SHOW
Soifon: Shikai against Fraccion Bankai failed agaisnt Espada
Mayuri: Didn't bother using Shikai, in fact he has used Bankai in Each and every one of his fights. Against Szayel immediately used Bankai
Komammura: Bankai's in any battle against serious opponents.
Oh and Ikkaku rapes
