Bands and 2000 Videos Removed from AMV.org

Popular AMV site AnimeMusicVideos.org has been served with a cease & desist order by an unnamed record label in regards to AMVs using music from Evanescence, Creed, and Seether.

Kind of amusing that 2000 videos were removed, can you imagine if Linkin Park got in on the action? There wouldnt be an AMV site left!

But seriously, a stupid move, you'd think AMVs were the scourge of society or something the way studios and the RIAA act.

yeah, but I'd rather remove those amvs than shut down the whole site, thnkgoodness too cuz phade was about to shut it down...
besides its not like I care for anyone of those particular bands...
I heard linkin park frequents amv.org quite a bit, they even grabbed the idea for breaking the habbit (vid) for it...
