I felt like it was time to get this section organized. Post your predictions for the next chapter here, when the raw is released, i will add a spoiler tag to warn those who are waiting for the scans and remove the tag when the chapter have been scanlated.

Two possibilities:
A. Chapter focuses mainly on Galley-La/Franky Family characters, with the SH vs CP9 starting at the end

B. We start CP9 fights. In this case, I'd guess we see the characters start some individual fights. Looking at the long term, the order will probably be Nami, Chopper, Sanji, Sogeking, Zoro, Luffy. Sogeking gets to jump a head of Sanji due to the focus in this arc.

The battles will be defined. after all there are 6 straw hats and 6 cp9. so my bet is to decide who fights who.

My bet...

Luffy vs. Luccy (the cat guy with a thirst of blood)
Zoro vs. Kaku (the longnose. did this one 'cause they fought at water 7. it's time for revenge)
Sanji vs. Jyabura (the one who was pissed about luccy strenght.)
Sogeking vs. Kumadori (though Kumadori uses a sword to commit sepuku every time his main weapon is a staff. same as sogeking)
Chopper vs. Fukurou (the zipper guy. both are huge guys so it's kinda obvious.)
Nami vs. Karifa (the cat's fight :amuse)

Yeah and they are the strawhats. :amuse

jokes aside think of it like this... Chopper has his 7 levels tranformation. a good weapon. Sogeking saw himself in all this arc as a useless person, who only ran away, couldn't take care of the money and fought against his captain and friend for something he couldn't fix. So now he needs to prove himself worty not only for his friends but for himself. If he doesn't he won't be able to face his dad face to face much less his sweetheart waiting for him on his hometown (second one is it a joke or it's true? who knows...) and Nami though she's very weak in battle she won once against mr 1 partner using her clima tact. sure it isn't a good way to measure her capacity and skills, wich are next to none at least physically speaking. If i recall right she's the 4rth smartest person in the One Piece world (this was in a databook) so it's time to use that. but she has to prove herself as a treat and worty of the name.

Remember, not all fights are won with the fists. sometimes u also need brain :amuse and nami has tons of that.

Very good initiative. Can you do this for the old threads as well? So that we can have one thread on a chapter with raw,translation, scanlation and discussions. It will be easy to get all the information from one thread especially discussions over that specific chapter. Thanks in advance.

Now for the prediction.

I agree with Raptor on all SHs improvement over the arcs. However I am not so convinced with the idea that they(nami, Ussop and Chopper) can take down a six style user. But it is the same thing I thought with Barbeque works, but Nami and others did well.

This time we may have more fireworks.
Luffy can changes gears (lol :laugh)
Zorro started bending swords
Sanji may find a new kicking style stronger than Rankyaku
Nami's Climatic is updated with dials and can expect some skypia 'God-work'
Ussop is with a new staff (where did he get that from? New attack styles?)
Chopper may have an improved, new form of attack

We may get one on one fight or a gang fight with the 'lower-order' fighters. But I am still expecting the flashback of Robin. If it is not now, then when? This this the most appropriate time for the story of 'Ohara devils'.

Zoro vs. Kaku (looking forward to this rematch)

Sogeking vs. Fukurou (ummm Lies vs. Truth... need I say more)
Chopper vs. Kumadori (Been thinkin this one would happen for a long time, cant pinpoint why)
Nami vs. Karifa (ummm 2 weakest... well besides spandam that is)
Franky vs Spandam (come on this been a long time coming)

Also, there should be an anouncement like what moe did with Bleach but one for One Piece describing what One Piece is about and links directing newbies to the right paths, like threads they won't be spoiled in. Well Chopper was able to take on one of Eneru's priest one on one. He did show some strength in that battle. He should also be able to locate their weakness with his Brain Point + Scope, if he's facing Calipha who barely got a devil fruit power, she most likely won't even be aware of her own weakness. And we did see Usopp show some nice planning against Luffy. One on One might be a bit too much though for Usopp. But Nami's climatact is pretty powerful now, who knows its limits. The level gap between the weaker and the stronger member is huge that is if the other ones don't have devil fruits. But then again, they don't have to win, maybe weaken them enough, lose, then the other Franky family members come and finish them off. The giants are pretty strong, but they might be to busy taking care of the rest of the marine forces still left on Eneis Lobby.

I'm probably thinking after some talk, they'd start the fights. Hopefully by the end, they have the general fight set up revealed, as I don't see how they'd have some huge rumble, considering how the level gap between some of them is huge.

Luffy will obviously fight Lucci, Zoro could fight Jyabura (he should be the second strongest, since I doubt Kaku would be able to use his devil fruit as good as Jyabura, and Lucci even bothers to transform when Jyabura did along with thier little rivarly going on, so I'm assuming Jyabura's fruit may be much stronger than Lucci's, with it, he's around the same level.) Franky vs. Kaku (Well he has to fight someone I believe... Spandman is just too weak...), Sanji vs. Calipha (Great time for Sanji to get over his weakness, at least under some condition thats created like Calipha does "blah blah", and well she does hav a kicking ability, I'm sure her devil fruit would boost her strength.) Throw Robin in against one of them, then the rest doesn't neccessarily have to be one on one, considering they are much weaker on both the SH and CP9 team.

Ah, my mistake. Had totally forgotten about Sogekings dials, and his new weapons and Ussopps improvements on Nami's climatact. They'd still need some power boost to beat them. How long do you think this fight will go on?

Well Sanji and Zoro's will most likely be 5-7 chapters. Luffy ... well his fights aren't exactly the shortest, so maybe 10-12 chapters. THe rest would probably only be like 2-3 chapters max. If Robin and Franky fight, considering their importance to this arc, and if their opponnent is someone not cannon fodder, they'd probably get at least 5 chapters. (Merely looked at the chapter span their previous major fights covered to get a general idea.) Not neccessarily full chapters each, more like the fights overlapping each other and such. It'd probably last for about 2 volumes worth of things.

These are probably going to be the longest fights in the series for each character.
Although its still too early too say just how exactly the fights are going to take place now since theyr all together.

Luffy vs Lucci is going to go on for a while, Spandam may try to get Robin and Franky down to Impel Down while the fights are going on so that may take up a lot of space.
the CP9ers are basically the strongest opponents Usopp, Nami and Chopper are going up against (Sanji, Zoro and Luffy 'faced' Eneru). So theyr gonna have to be longer than their previous ones, especially considering how eccentric their opponents are (Kumadori, Fukurou).

So id go with around 7-8 chaps for Zoro and Sanji. 5-6 for Usopp, Nami and Chopper. And the rest of the arc dedicated to Luffy vs Lucci (say around 15-20 including all other distractions concerning Spandam etc...)

Sanji and Kaku will have a kicking fight like from Alabasta.

I enjoy those flashbacks which keep contributing to the depth of the characters. If this was any other manga it'd be angry at a flashback in the middle of what is sure to be a hectic battle. However, this one is so well done I'm actually happy about it.

Some things i could make out:

- Spandam is tretening Robin to use the buster call to crush the straw hats. that's why she still refuses to go (i think he will do it anyway)

- She lived with her aunt or uncle who left her alone to go to their daugher birthday (they didn't take her with them)

- The party at the end was 'cause the weird guy said that she just became an archeologist. wow she's a pure genious.

The more i see it the more I believe that Franky has already made pluton and he'll give it to the straw hats... I think that Spandam doesn't care about anything and he'll use the buster call anyway. :amuse

about the possible fights set ups..hm..1 is certain it's luffy vs lucci of course..

i wanted to ussop fight against kaku......but there are many possibilities about the fights...sanji would fit perfectly in a fight against kalifa as against kaku..zoro could fight against jyabura but i think is sanji...since fukurou said in that chart 1st lucci,2nd kaku,3rd jyabura so in the strawhat crew would be 1st luffy,2nd zoro,3rd sanji..
maybe ussop will fight against kudomari..and then chopper against fukurou..and i'm seeing another cat fight(i'm thinking robin will help nami..don't know why..) :|

and please oda let franky punch or kick the spandam ass by letting him falling in that tower to the ground.

I guess we could use the douriki to see who is fighting who. Luffy and Luccy is obvious. I bet with Zoro and Kaku more than with Kaku and Ussop. Zoro is the second strongest fighter of the straw hats, (followed very VERY closely by Sanji but who knows really with the insane training he makes all the time) and he also has a score to settle with square nose (he kicked the crap outta him once remember?) Sanji since he's like zoro said "pirate a or b" :amuse could fight against Jyabura. Ussop and Chopper could be against Kumadori and Fukurou. I would choose Kumadori for Ussop since he also uses a staff as a primary weapon (even though he tries to commit sepuku every time with a sword) and Fukurou for Chopper. big guys fight. and the weakeast, Kalifa with the weakest straw hat, Nami.

But it's just me at the end.

And Robin... :( she was so cute as a kiddo.

These images are taken from colour walk and chapter 377 respectively. The drawing style is similar in these pictures. Since the first image matches the fight in Arlong park, the second can become true. Comparing the images above I think the fight would be in the order of,
Blueno - Already down (otherwise Robin)
Fukurou - Robin and Ussop (May be Ussop alone, to prove himself, lol :smile-big )
Kaku - Zoro
Lucchi - Luffy
Jyabura - Sanji
Karifa - Chopper and Nami
Kumadori - Franky

It's 'cause Spandam is treating her to use the buster call on them. i think he'll do anyway but there are two choices:

1. the gold den den mushi doesn't work
2. he calls for it against water 7 after cipher pol 9 is defeated but Franky gives them a ship that can wipe out the buster call. Pluton maybe??
