I have only seen the first few episodes on Bleach and I thought I would see them all but then I realized how long it would take to watch all 58(and counting) episodes. So I decided to skip all the bulk and get to the bare essentials of this and (almost) all shounen anime, boobs and fights! Could someone be as so kind as to tell me the episodes that had the best fights and the episodes that had the best/most fan service?

Sinjitsu Maester, you'll be cheating yourself if you just go for the action. What has caused Bleach to catch-on has been getting involved in the plot. The reason the action is intense is because of being tied to what's developing.

"Wham, Bam, thank you mam" might not work too well for Bleach anime.

If you want action, play a game. I, though, think you'd be better off going through the episodes, imho.

the anime only gets good after 40
so you could start there.

as did 18-38. Just buy up to Vol 9, then watch 18-58. Jeez, this isn't your usual anime, it's actually good.

You really shouldn't skip any, there's something worthwhile in each episode IMO. Just take the time and get them all, only one episode per week is coming out, so watching them all won't take too long and you'll catch up. Like tripperdan99 said, you'd be cheating yourself missing out on the others and only watching the action heavy eps.

I'd say only the ones involving Karakura Superheroes and Renji/Rukia's past are skippable without a HUGE loss. I mean...every episode has kept me on my toes wanting more. The fights aren't really spectacular(as I really don't think many shonen fights in the long run are except for ones like Naruto with a variety of "jutsus") but the plot behind it definitely is.

But like its been said, if you want fights, play an action game, if you want boobs, watch some porn/whatever you want to call it, if you want a quality anime, watch this through.

what are you smoking?

if someone starts watching midway through, they are going to be completely lost.

Only until recently, does Ichigo give a little speech summarizing the storyline before the opening credits.

58 out in total, 59 will be out raw on tuesday.

Really if you only watch it for the big fights your gunna miss out on some of the coolest stuff elsewhere.

No I'm dead serious, I watched the anime when it first came out and it was dull as hell, stopped watdhing it for a while and caught back up, I was going to stop watching until they started showing the Captains, then it got good.

Look the anime IS NOT GOOD UNTIL AFTER THEY SHOW THE CAPTAINS. Other than that, it really isnt all that. So all the episodes before the Captains are boooooooooooooorinng!!

The people have spoken (and i'd say they were correct).

Bleach isn't the type of series where you can just jump in and watch an episode for some action, you won't really find anything spectacular that'll grab you and drag you in, it just isn't there. Some of the fights had the potential to be truly amazing but the potential wasn't realised (imho). I guess Bleach doesn't get as high a budget as Naruto does, which is unfortunate.
I mean don't get me wrong, some of the fights in the series were nice (Kenpachi vs Ichigo) but they could have been superb.

I guess one thing that holds people to Bleach is the fact that it's got an engaging story (Bleach is the king of twists and turns) and it's got some charming characters.
So go ahead and bear with the series if you haven't read the manga already, (what do you mean you haven't? Go and read it NOW instead of my incoherant babble).

If you're just looking for this for some great action pieces you'll be disappointed, this isn't Naruto but it will engage you if you don't already know what's going to happen.

It's like, ~20 hours only. So watch them all! :amuse I really wasn't dissapointed, there's humour and everything.

I would say the beginning is kinda slow but funny, when they get to soul society thats when it gets really good like at episodes 20 or just read the manga way faster then rewatching.

:blink

What planet are you from? The anime is good. I was reluctant to watch this series as I was still on Naruto but a friend persisted and I have to say I don't regret every single episode of it.

Anyway, Shinjitsu Maester, don't skip episodes or you'll miss out a lot. The plotline is what makes this stand out among the many series out there.
