This actually quite simple. Just find what you want on a website, click on it and click "Save to/as" and save that picture to "My Pictures" or "My Documents". The go to "User CP" and go to "Edit Avatar". Then click on a button that says "Custom Avatar" and click "Browse". Then click on whatever picture you saved last time. See? Easy as breathing.
