If you at a con and you see someone in Bleach cosplay, dont assume that they read the manga. I went to oni-con, basically got the entirety of Bleach spoiled for me by one person after another. By Sunday I just gave up telling them to shut up.... just trying to warn people, I will not be held accountable for my actions if this keeps happening, although I dont know what else anyone could possibly spoil lol...
Ninja Edit* I noticed that the title kinda made it seem like I was called manga readers stupid, and I apologize. I ment it as stupid people who have read the manga. Sorry for the mixup.

I'm assuming here that you went to some kind of anime or manga event where everyone was in cosplay. Well, it's only logical that people will spoil it for you if you are going to such an event. My advice: Never go to any event, u less you are up to date with the series.

Dude, deal with it. If you're going to a comic con, people are going to be dressing up as shit from manga that haven't even been made into an anime, so what makes you think they won't dress up as shit from the later bleach manga?

I'm reading this as HE went to an anicon in cosplay - and everyone assumed he must be a manga reader to be so obessed or something and was talking to him all day about shit he didn't want to be spoiled about.
In that case, I'm sorry. But - going to an anicon and NOT getting spoiled would have been a miricle in the first place.
So, who'd you go as?

Alas yes skmt999 basically hit the nail on the head. I was just walking around as Renji, with my badass sword I might add, and I had random people run upto me, "Oh dude! I loved when I found out ***** ** *** ****!!" so on and so forth.
I dunno, I never had the problem with Naruto. No one ever spoiled it for me, and I cosplayed for naruto at quite a few conventions, and talked to quite a few other cosplayers.

^It's because majority Naruto fans are anime-only, unfortunately. Though, I'm sure cosplayers are going around with all the Part 2 costumes now.
Sorry to hear about that, but this is to be expected in anicons.

Not "stupid" to read the real version of the story.
The manga is vastly superior to the anime anyway...And spoilers are not an issue.
NAHHHH, the anime is better, I mean it's moving pictures with sound and in COLOR!

Although I do love the anime, I love art, and almost always manga art > anime art. I would read the manga as I prefer manga usually, but none of my friends do and I hate being ahead of them. I made the mistake of reading the naruto manga when everyone I know watches the anime.
