Though the image seems to be unhosted I will say that the tripod picture looks like the chidori and a green rassengan combining....or a rassengan and a green chidori combining. Take your pick :amuse

Well if Naruto was doing the full rasengan and maintaining it like Jiraiya did when he showed him the 3rd step, then most likely the same effect would have sword trying to stab a metal grinder, meaning the grinder would go on till it grinded all the sword (and took outi ts sharp edge) leading to Naruto grinding trough Sasuke.

However, given that Naruto cannot do it like Jiraiya and certainly cannot hold it long enough (most of his rasengan apart the very first one against Kabuto was 80% of the real rasengan), it happened like in the story...
