Thanks in advance! :smile-bigI haven't been reading Death Note lately, so I'm not too sure of the context... It's possible that the translation could change based on the context, but if I were to guess, I'd say:
Right Bubble:
Matt, how are things over there?
Left Bubble:
Absolutely nothing.
If you could tell me the chapter number, I'd be able to confirm the context and possibly give a better translation.

That's from Ch. 85 (more specifically, the last pannel on the second page).

Edit: Because of the next page (http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/3609/file07887je.jpg) (particually the 3rd pannel), I decided to go with this:

Anyways, thanks once again for the help.

The last saying in the last panel, I got :"Somehow thus not". Yea, it doesn't make sense to me either, but that's jus cus I'm still learning. And the first one is asking of someone [Is it Mashito [?]....?]

The person Mello's talking to is Mat(t). Rei's translation here (http://townl.mangahelpers.com/index.php?topic=202.0) didn't really sound right to me either, thus I created this thread.

Given Matt's lines that come on the next page, I'd probably translate things like this:
Right Bubble:
"Matt, how are things over there?"
Left Bubble:
"There's no 'how' about it."
Next Page First Frame:
"I haven't seen a single thing."
Rei's tranlsation of the odd line in question is actually a direct copy from Eijirou (http://www2.alc.co.jp/ejr/index.php?word_in=%82%C7%82%A4%82%E0%82%B1%82%A4%8 2%E0%82%C8%82%A2&word_in2=%82%A0%82%A2%82%A4%82%A6%82%A8&word_in3=PVawEWi72JXCKoa0Je), which is a Japanese-English translation resource. I actually like Eijirou on a whole, as it always seems to given me some good ideas for translation, but for that particular line, I'm actually completely clueless as to what the English translation is supposed to mean in the first place. The translation itself actually seems to be lifted out of a random context and without that context it's pretty meaningless.

Okay, I corrected that, thanks.
