I know it's not really a question about a certain drawing style or anything..but it is art related anyway..so..

For Christmas, I'm looking into treating myself by getting a tablet for drawing purposes. However, I really have no idea what to pick up. Price isn't too much of a problem, but under $200 would be cool. I'd appreciate any suggestions at all.

Since you're probably in America (correct me if I'm wrong) then the best you can get for $200 is a 6x8 Wacom Graphire4
The performance difference between a Graphire and Intuos isn't that significant (unlike the price) so it's better to get the cheaper Graphire and no 4 is the newest model of it
I have an Wacom Intuos2 but only because I got it for a fantastic deal (otherwise it would have been Graphire) but one day I hope to get an LCD tablet (not Cintiq but one of the cheaper models)
