So, yeah, I just want to let it be known that I created the concept of the artist ninja before Kishimoto. This is a blatant example of an established artist ripping off the work of an unknown! BUT THE TRUTH SHALL BE KNOWN!

nwoppertje: You know, I completely forgot about Sasori and Deidara when making this post. I can't remember exactly when I drew this, so maybe it's me who owes Kishimoto for the idea and not the other way around ;)

I drew it a few months back, and
283 revealed that Sai uses an inkbrush as a weapon, so I decided it was a good time to expose Kishimoto for the idea-stealing fraud that he is :)
Usually I don't post stuff here because I never ever have the motivation to finish a picture, so they usually end at the linework stage (as you can see). And she's a rock-nin because Hidden Stone's symbol is the most fun to draw besides the Konoha leaf.

aburo yin: Well...hmm...she's like Lee in that she has no talent for chakra control, but she doesn't have any talent for taijutsu either. She has a seal on her tongue that gathers chakra to her saliva, so she infuses ink with her chakra by spitting into it. She's actually a calligraphy-master, not a visual artist, but she's also a master of sealing jutsu and she can create barriers and such by drawing the proper seal. And she can paint seals on different parts of her body to release massive amounts of chakra from that area for a limited time. Sound good? :D

OniTasku: I think the lower halves of her legs are a little too short, you're right. But, then, I like a little stubbiness :)
