Latest episode had Cat lady and 2nd division chick sitting under the moon. Was that in Soul Society? Do they have a moon in soul society? If that's so, do they have astronauts, or is the moon just fake or something?

I wouldn't know exactly because I'm only on my 29th episode of Bleach :strip
They have other things that the Earth has, so why not a moon.

I think soul society is just like the real world. We have the moon and so of course they have too.

I dont think it's the hollows that stopped SS from making astronauts... but i think that them being stuck in a perpetually Medieval world might have something to do with it.
SS seems to have a moon and a sun just like the real world...

I believe SS to be created through the collective conscienceness of all the people who live there. That would explain why the buildings look like they belong at least 2 centuries ago.
SS has night and day and sun just like the real world, so why not a moon.
