Because of my recent discovery about anime and studying ( at the link if you dont know) http://forums.narutofan.com/showthread.php?p=2383757#post2383757

Ive decided to get anime surely but slowly. Are there Any that you would recommend me?
List of seen anime : Trigun, Bebop , Naruto(duh), Bleach, Hale nocchi guu, Ah my godess, Golden Boy, Najica Blitz, Hellsing, Prince of tennis, and this anime (romance) about a girl who was sent into a different world and there she meets some guy and a prince, then they had to get zodiac symbols or each character had their own zodiac symbol( PM me if you know that one)
(probably more but those are the ones that stuck up, so you can get an idea of what type of anime i like)

I shall look those up, for I don;t know what any of them are.
Here's a description of each

RahXephon (OT) - Two worlds collide, where a young boy is forced to choose between the two (has big mecha like things in it)
Saikano (M) - A war breaks out in Japan....what would you do if your girlfriend is the ultimate weapon?
FLCL (T) - Really really wierd, crazy, random manga
Descendants of Darkness (?) - A "soul society" is used to control the spirits in the mortal world, has an evil gay doctor and a guy named Kurosaki (sounds a lot like bleach but definately, is not!)
Angel Sanctuary (?) - I only watched one of the dvd's....i think i didnt start at the beginning...you'll have to search for this one....
Fruits Basket (T?) - A young girl is parentless....and comes upon a family named the Sohma's. One of them, Shigure (a pervy novelist) decides to take her in. She finds out some of the Sohma main house, carry a curse. The curse of the Zodiac.

There, hope it helps ^_^

Giant Robo (a must see), Fist of the North Star (a classic), Macross Plus (truly brilliant), Excel Saga (if you enjoy FLCL), Ghost in the Shell (all versions and sequels) (if you claim to like anime), Akira (same as before), Ninja Scroll (classic), samurai champloo (best samurai anime yet)...

There are many others I would recommend for different reasons. The above list is simply to expand on what you've seen, and to give you an idea of what your particular taste might be.

Some of my favs:

Saiyuki (Watch out for "Reload" -- they totally MANGLED it! The manga's still good, though.)
Azumanga Daioh (Really quirky, but funny "show about nothing")
Rorouni Kanshin / Samurai X (movies) (Personal favorite, ranks as high as Naruto in my books)
Excel Saga (will have you falling down laughing) as well as its video-only sequel...
Puni-Puni Poemy (quite possibly the most demented thing ever rendered in animation)
Tsubasa Chronicle (one of the coolest concepts for a series I've seen in a long time, but nearly impossible to sum up in a sentence)
Just about anything by CLAMP is worth at least checking out
FullMetal Panic (any series)
Sexy Commando (It's NOT a porn, but it's so bizarre it'll leave you trying to figure out wtf just happened!)
Descendents of Darkness and Mirage of Blaze (the second being a very similar series about the "Feudal Underworld" and souls that have refused reincarnation and instead possess people in the modern era as they continue fighting ancient wars with each other.)
Ghost In the Shell and Innocence
Neon Genisis Evangelion (not really my bag, but I give it major props for storytelling, intensity, and dragging you every step of the way to the last chapter)

LESSER FAVS:
FullMetal Alchemist
Nuku-Nuku Dash / TV
Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi
Ai Yori Aoshi
Love Hina

...Just to name a few.

Evangelion is a must see. It's very contraversal....either you'll love it heaps and heaps, or you'll totally hate it.....there's not many ppl in between~
