Woe is me! I always become obsessed with series way after normal people. For some reason I can never seem to be engrossed in a fandom when most people are. I discover the joy of a series months after everyone else. It sucks, but it can't be helped. I have come to face that it is inevitable. Yeah, if you didn't run out of this FC after reading my rant, chances are I love you.

Anyway, this all being said, it is probably aparent to you all that I am just now getting into the Gundam Seed series. Told you I am slow! Chances are that now no one will want to join this fanclub but I am attempting to start it up anyway! If you join I promise to shower you with fanart! I promise! If I don't have any of your favorite character and/or pairing I swear to hunt some down even if it kills me!

I am looking for fellow fans of Gundam Seed because I want people to fangirl/fanboy over these wonderful series with me! So if you wish to join up just say! Oh God! The GSD OVA is out! Check tokyotosho.com, search up Gundam seed destiny final plus. Though I must say it's a total upset, my review on my xanga, it's 46 minutes long, most is recaps with extra things thrown in, literally, and 5 minutes is actually what u makes an "OVA" can't really word it well>.< dl and watch yourself =)

I think the Final Plus ep is better used if you just replace your old ep 50 (if you collect the episodes) with it. This Final Plus ep should've been the original ending episode in the first place instead of that half-baked ep 50.

Anyways, I thought it was a pretty good ep, and leaves good room for the 3rd SEED season. Hopefully it'll be done much better than Destiny. :amuse
And that scene in Final Plus where they shot all the retreat signals out.... that was just plain pretty :laugh

Okay I just started to watch Gundam seed destinyand I can honestly say im farely pissed off... what happened to the characters in the time we were away they all seem... meh!
Please tell me that even if the story is inferior the characters at least manage to recover some of their former selves in Gundam Seed the only character who got on my nerves of the bat was Flay!

Yeah, I believe most people, including me, found GSD to be fairly disappointing. Character development kinda sucked too since the Minerva crew apparently is only second priority to the Archangel crew. :/
Are you pissed that Kira and company seem more boring or something? Well its probably because they've matured and have already fought through a war so they understand the nature of things. That's how Kira and Lacus continuously seem so calm most of the time.

Ah well, there's always the 3rd season of SEED to redeem themselves and do a much better job.

Yeah, I was a little disappointed with Cagalli (Note: its with a C, not K.... unless its Kagari. :P) in GSD since they didn't give her much of a role, despite being Orb's representative..... but I suppose it is a little fitting since she knows she can't be brash and making really risky desicions. She's still my fav. chara though. :amuse

How does GSD stack up when compared to Gundam 08th MS Team? I loved 08th, but not loved the other series I've seen.

My thoughts regarding Gundam series: 08th MS Team was brilliant, Wing was OK, Endless Waltz was dumb, and G-Gundam was retarded.

Maybe you'll like SEED. The story might be compelling in the same fashion as Blood+, notwithstanding the usual cliches. I admit I very much liked the interaction between the two main characters. I don't know if you'll like SEED Destiny, though. XD

I dont tend to enjoy mecha based series' unyet I still fell in love with Gundam Seed I think its awesome a great tale of a reluctant hero and the pointlessness of war... Gundam Seed Destiny wasnt as good but if you enjoyed seed you will probably want to watch it anyway

It really does. Cause I mean during the series Shin seems like the loner type who only wants to fight out of anger. Then he meets Stellar and feels he can protect her, after she passes away he once again becomes a loner yet he rushes himself to Luna. Luna reacts on the spur of the moment and goes with it. It's nothing like a KiraxLacus thing which took some time.

It makes sense a bit if you think about it. But they tried to make it the same way as the first Gundam seed. Kira had a crush on Flay and he wanted to be with her, so when she started to like him he felt relieved. Yet, he had met Lacus and liked her in a way as well. After Flays death is was obvious who he was going to be with. Same with Shin.

Rain? Rain is good. If its raining, it means the sun isn't try to roast me retnas. It also means I don't work that day. (I work for a playground construction company as a summer job. Lots of hours (as in generally around 10 or so a day), but you can't weld in the rain so no work on rainy days).

As for my taste in clothes... Most of my comfortable clothes are dark colors and I like them. Nice to see someone else likes the same types.

Strike Freedom never fought strike. It would be impossible since it's Kira who pilots both those units. But I think that you got it confused with the gundam that Shinn pilots (the name of it just slipped my mind), because the colours between Strike and Shinn's gundam was quite similar.

I never cried, (came close when Lala in 0079 died) cause Seed Characters pissed me off, Destiny characters were cool but not really worth crying over. Plus I just wanted to see Kira die. Got my hopes up when Shinn shot him down, but nooooooooooo! He comes out unchathed and no injuries after his entire Mobile Suit blows up! Anyone else have a problem with that?

All he ever did was cause a problem and kill many good soldiers of Zaft. His presence on the battlefield created conflict and led many to their deaths, I really don't much care for him, personally his reasoning that he was right was indeed wrong and I didn't like him for it (could pilot a mobile suit like no tomorrow though) just didn't like him. Wanted to see him die before he killed someone important like Burrel or maybe even Shinn (luckily that never happened) Sides' I'm a guy so I really wouldn't know about him being "a total hottie" and all that
