yehey! noone made this thread yet! hehe, well here you can discuss in general which do you think is the best Bleach Beat collection CD/s, favorite song and your opinions on the CDs itself!!! =D

I really wasn't fond of any of those CDs. They weren't my cup of tea. I prefered the instrumental music of Bleach over the voice actors' CDs because the music was more pleasing to listen to.

I definitely like Ishida the best overall. Sasuke singing brings beautiful tears to my eyes.

But my favourite song out of everything is Memories in the Rain by Ichigo and Rukia duet thing. ^__^

I love the duet songs, although I didn't like Renji's songs at all. Too heavy metal for my taste. "Memories in the Rain" and "Aesthetics and Identity" are real good. I haven't gotten a chance to listen to Hanatarou and Kon yet.

I downloaded Ishida's beat collection off that FC you posted, I'd have to download more to make a comparison, but I think I prefer the Opening's, Ending's and the soundtrack (well, some of the soundrack).

EDIT: Have you heard the songs Kubo assigned to his characters in the manga? I think they're downloadable at http://bleach.colourwalk.net/media.html . I enjoyed Kenpachi's theme, this song by Massive Attack, and Ichigo's was a Bad Religion song ^_^

I've seen the lists of those 'assigned' themes before, but I've never gotten to listen to any. Too bad the dl link is dead. :laugh

As for the BB Collections, I've not heard Hanatarou and Kon's - but of the others... I can say I disliked Ichigo's. I just don't like his singing voice. The track with him and Rukia was ok.

I really liked Death Metal Renji. The image in my head makes it all worthwhile.

And Ishida's was probably my favorite so far. I didn't want to listen to it for fear of the Sasuke mental images.. but it was really pretty good. Not Sasuke at all. Thank goodness.

I've heard them all and they're all good. But my personal favourite would be Ishida's, his songs are nice. I like how he/his seiyuu sings and one of the songs (Quincy no Hokori ni Kakete, or something like that) has the Quincy feeling in it, which is good. Hanatarou's and Kon's single is also quite nice, somewhat funny too. Ichigo's single is not bad either, the best songs in it would be My Blade, As My Pride and Memories in the Rain. I like them a lot. <3 Renji's single is quite good too, the best song in it would probably be Gomitame Mitai Na Machi De Oretachi Wa Deatta. Rukia and Renji make a good duo, but so do Ichigo and Rukia. :}

I like them all, but I think Ishida's single is the best. ^^

Renji's "Rosa..." confuses me. I'm not a heavy metalhead, though, or much of a musichead in general. It just makes me laugh, because that song just sounds like screaming nonsense to me. My sister is in love with it, though. ^.^;;

Ichigo's singing voice sounds kind of...off. But not every person in the world can sing, so I'll just pretend Ichigo's one of them. XD But I like "Memories in the Rain." Cute song.

Ishida-kun's single = love. I like the whole CD in general, but I'm torn between "Quincy no Hokori ni Kakete" and "Suigintou no Yoru." Sugiyama Noriaki-san has a pretty singing voice.

I love "Suigintou no Yoru" too! That and "Quincy no Hokori ni Kakete" are tied for fave Ishida single song. I can't decide on just one.

I haven't heard all of Renji's, but "Rosa (blah blah, I can't remember title)" was kind of blech for me as well. Screaming, gutteral nonsense is all the song sounded like to me. It's hardly a song, but eh. Each to his own. ^.^;;

Huh? Most of them have good, if not great, singing voices! :amazed As to be expected from people that work with their voices for a living.
If they just spent a little more time on singing and honing their skills, they'd be great artists. If I'm not mistaken, some VA's (not anyone from Bleach, at least that I know of) are singers as well. :amuse

I think the Beat Collections are all good, in their own funny way. Ishida's songs are all atleast good, but my ultimate favorite is at the moment Ichigo's "Memories in the rain". Rukia sings quite well. ^^
