Iro-Hina was indeed a nice manga, it had interesting characters and a fine plot too. Especially in the first time, this was just stunning...

Well I was just stating two action anime that I have enjoyed over the years. I'm only 20 as you can see next to my name so I grew up in middle school watching DBZ on OLD SCHOOL toonami when it was on in the afternoons. I remember avidly watching things like Sailor Moon too (should I be ashamed to say that? lol). I remember for the longest time they only had up to the Namek saga episode where the crew was fighting the last of the Ginyu force. Ahh the memories. Bebop I saw from a friend who had the dvds years before it came to adult swim.

And my favorite kind of music is punk and ska, go Less Than Jake.

I own volumes 1-4,6,13, and 14 of the manga. I originally bought 13 and 14 online to see how the series ended, because although I was happy at the ending to the OVAs I just knew there had to be more. Then I started collecting the rest of the manga everytime I go to my local shop here in AA, but me being low on cash and accidently buying 6 instead of 5 and then them not having 5 has impeded the process.

I only did that with Ichigo 100% after I watched the anime because it's not out in the US for me to buy (to my knowledge?). Anyways for those of you who read the manga, how did you like the ending? The time skip and all? I never really liked the time skip thing in mangas, but now that I look back I think it was it pretty cool, it s the best way to show the readers that they do end happily ever after, without saying that.

the ending of the manga was great but i think they rushed trough it.
the time skip i didn't mind honestly i don't know what could happened in the 3 years that we need to see badly , think they were just being happy and going to Tokyo U together,it would have been nice if we saw/read what they did i 3 years.Like garduations seremonys(bad spelling i know) and stuff.

Ok, it's been awhile since I read volume 14 I'll admit. I remember Ema being a strange new character that they just introduce out of the blue and she's quite plain. Did the time skip happen at the beginning of the chapter?

Oh wait, now it's slowly coming back. They show all the characters a couple years after volume 13, like the younger chracters are taller and in their dresses. I didn't have a problem with that to be honest. Even though I was disappointed at the end because I wanted more Love Hina, you gotta figure it's gotta end somewhere. Romance/drama anime/manga(s) usually only last a couple of seasons or not many chapters. (in fact, I can't name a romance anime longer than 25 eps, but I'm sure I'm wrong and just have a limited knowledge). As long as Keitaro and Naru live happily ever after I'm fine.

Anyways Ill tell you why I like Seta, my 2nd favorite character, since Naru everybody knows why shes so great. I like him cause hes hella funny, totaly has a one track mind and is oblivious to everything around him, hes cracks me up evertime. Also as explained in the manga he failed the Todai test 3 times and was a loser before then too, but he keep at it and finaly he became a hella cool ass character.

And in the end he ended up being a copy of seta witch make's me like him even more cuz Seta is :lmao:rofl more i do not need to say about Seta.

3rd Haruka she's so easy going and she kicks ass just like naru does:tem

Yup my second, second, fav character is Keitarou too, I thought he was a loser at first, and hated evertime he messed things up again. But he turned out to be a Mini Seta, and that was even funnier than 1 Seta.(They show this more in the manga)Plus he finaly managed to succeed after so long, plus his mess ups were funny in the begginin too.

Oh yeah Haruka's hella cool too, I forgot about her, her kicked back demenor is hella cool, plus her seiyuu Megumi Hayashibara, is one of my favorite seiyuu's.

hmm favourite part? do I have to pick?! hmm I liked the ending (well, the 3rd and 2nd last page was kinda meh.. but ^^) and the of course I liked vol 1-14 too, thats the part that I like the most :nuts

I'll wait a bit with the rating, I tend to give stuff i have just read/seen higher ratings, let me digest it first. (btw rating stuff is hard)

hmm not sure if I want to compare, and I don't know if I can since I saw LH anime before I read the manga and all that... and Ichigo 100% hasn't come to an end yet. I won't give a final verdict, but so far LH is better.
