Whatever religion you are even if you dont have one. There is one truth. You could die tomorrow. You could die today. You could even die reading this. I'm asking if you were to die. Would you be ok with it? Would you be able to rest in peace?
mods feel free to trash this if its been done before.

I'm ready to die and wouldn't mind dying any time soon. But living is cool too, so I'll do that for now. I have a feeling that once you die you usually can't com e back, so I might as well get all of the living I can while I can.
i have no problem whatsoever if i died right after i post this, if i was going to get punished for what i did, then i deserve it, if i was going to get rewarded i'd have no problem, i have no debts to anyone or unfinished bussiness, i just have hope's and dreams, but again EVERYONE has hope's and dreams so those don't matter, so yeah, thats about all my thoughts on dieing right now on the spot

This title made me think back to the old Hexen days, "Greetings Mortal, are you ready to die?" Man that never gets old.
Anyway, I'm fully prepared to die, and am looking forward to it.

No!! JAPPO cant die!! Im an immortal -- a god! (and yeah not until naruto is finished too). But with all seriousness, I cant die til the 3rd year of the apopaclypse.

meh, i'd really rather not, but what would i do to prevent it if it was meant to happen? then i guess i'd accept it. but i like living, and i'd like to see what my life turns out to be. i'm always curious as to that. maybe, if i died tomorrow, i'd be happier if i could see what my life could have been. yes, sad too, but more curious.

Im not fully ready but if I died right now then I guess it wouldnt be a bad thing. There are things that I do want to do and places I want to see but if it happened to be my time to die then so be it.

I wouldnt be ok with it. i would really like ro experience more. id like to fall in love, at least lose my vir..also little things like keep people happy, finish these two years of high school. and a few video games. just stuff i want to experience before i die.

no way...i havent had a threesome yet!!
Sure. I didn't think I would make it this long, I don't see myself lasting too much past 23. Women. . . .. . . they're a killer.
Hell no. Should I drop dead this second, I'd feel very ripped off.
There a few things I would like to do before dying, but if it were to happen I wouldn't really have regrets. I'm prepared for the 'afterlife' or life after death, if it exists ;) After all, that is the one thing I wish to see :D

Yeah, ready as I'll ever be. I haven't felt happy in years. Depression slowly drains everything out of you; it even makes you start to dislike what you previously enjoyed. What's life without any happiness or pleasure?
I don't think anyone ever wants die, so no-one is ever really ready to die. But sometimes, people get so low they can't see any other way.

to die isn't really bad no matter what religion you look through, you either just cease to exist, go to heaven, or go to hell. contrary to common belief, i believe that hell is no lake of fire, but rather just a regular place, and that satan doesn't torture you forever, but rather just makes you into his soldier

OF course im ready to die....i think everyone is..considering the facts that you can die from about anything i belive the general public has accepted dieing because it happens so much (although i guess it doesnt happen much due to the ratio of people alive [around 6 billion i think] to however many die in 1 day). In summnation i suppose people are ready cause it happens all the time, or it is common-place, probably due to the media because they relay info across countrys.
wow more than i was going to type and most of it probably pointless :laugh

I'm not completely ready to die just yet, even though I'm going through a shitty situation at the moment. I want to stay alive just long enough for me to have a successful career and start a family. *knocks on wood*
But if that day suddenly comes, then I'll readily accept it.

well, ive been through that stage...sayig that im going to kill myself. but im still here. people say that they are ready because at that moment, they feel absolutely hopeless/helpless, but when you bounce back from that, you see the good in things again, and there, you're not ready to die....

If i were to somehow die right now then i guess i wont have any choice but to accept it. Tho, i like living a lot too :amuse
In my religion when a person dies it is because of fate (numbers), each and every person is already destined an age where they die, and if someone died before their time then they would become evil spirts roaming around for eternity, and would never be able to reincarnate. I believe this cuz my aunt died the most absurd way, she was sing Karoke and got electrocuted somehow. She was only in her early forties too.:sad

I would have no problem dying today or even tomorrow. The way I see it, the sooner you die the better. The longer you live, the more sins you commit. So the earler you die, the more likely you'll go to heaven. Thats in relation to religion. In terms of those who don't believe in religion~life is full of obstacles and hardship, the only escape is death.

True, but what if there is no heaven? or god? What if it just ends, your memory gone like it never existed.

I cant say I'm ready to die yet, I'm only 17 years old and havn't even lived half of my life and probaly didn't discover what to do etc. I'm surely curious how my life will turn out and well untill I'm done with everything I want to do, then I'm probaly dead since long!

If theres no God or heaven then we've all spent our lives trying to satisfy a superior being that does not exist. Even if theres no superior being, life is full of hardship and misery and the little happiness that we do experience is short lived. So why not die and end our misery? Especially if theres no God, hence no purpose in life.

Being ignorant about this topic or even avoiding it is probably the best policy. You'd be more happy not living half your life wondering when, where, or how your gonna die and trying to determine whether your ready to die or not.

I really am afraid of dieing, I keep on thinking what would all my friends do, what about my girlfriend, I can never see her smile or hear her laugh again, does everything just end, all my memories just gone everything gone, or does my soul go into a other body, I cant know since my memories would be gone, It makes me cry, I really here there will be enough technology to have a artificial world where people can keep on living after they died by actually downloading everything in their brain to a computer ala The matrix

I don't think you can ever be prepared to die. We humans aren't "made" to give up in such a matter. We can however accept something which is beyond our influence. There ain't much we can do about death so of course I accept it.
Though of course I would do something to prevent it if I could.

Of course u can prepare urself to die ... ex: kamikaze pilots in Japan, honorable suicides in Ancient Japan, suicide bombers...
But thought chance of ppl "like us" (see my previous post) dying doesn't warrant the effort of preparation.
