I know this seems like it has nothing much to do with learning a language, but maybe if we know what you want to learn we could then close this and make a new board for different "language classes"

I'll list a few languages I know, and write what you want to learn

English hahaha... don't worry about that one
Vietnamese
Italian
German
Japanese
Chinese (Mandorin)
Some Spanish
Some French
Some Filo

It would've been great if my parents put headphones in my ear so I could learn different languages easier.. hahaha.. languages are really hard to learn and remember unless you learn them at a young age and keep practicing them from then and on.

I know Dutch, French, English, German and am currently in my second year of learning Japanese. Next on my list would be Russian, Arabian, Spanish or Chinese...

Spanish would probably be the easiest one, since I already know French... or maybe that's just a misconception?

I chose science over languages in school, so there is still a lot to learn for me. I learned German, English, Latin (though my Latin is horrible) and am currently in my second year of studying Japanese. I suppose it will still take at least a year or two before I can start with my next language, i.e. before I'm ready to integrate Japanese completely in my normal life, and won't have to reserve special time to learn it.

The next one would probably be Chinese. After learning about 1400 Kanji already, it would be a waste to not put them into use, I think. If I should manage to find time for that, anything is fine after that, really. Either another Eastern Asian one, which would probably be hard but would give a real edge in anything concerning Asia, or another European one, which would probably be easier and more useful overall. I suppose it would be French. Then Spanish.

We'll see how long education and work will give me time to study languages. ^^

50 bucks says everyone here wants to speak Japanese.

Me though, its Russian, Chinese and Arabic. Arabic because, the middle east is the cradle of life and unappreciated. Chinese for similar reasons- amazing history... and Russian because my grandmother is always sad that I can't speak to her in Russian.
I'm of Russian/Canadian nationality, btw.

Less realistically, It'd be a kick to learn Latin, Finnish and Korean.
