I read more Children's fiction than most adults I know--typically the more famous series--probably not a surprise since I like Naruto of course
I'm not a huge manga or graphic novel reader, but obviously I like those genres to a degree or I wouldn't be a Naruto fan
I romance novels set from 1780 to 1840 in Europe, preferrably the UK--it's weird, but any other historical period I usually can't stand.
I will read contemporary romances, but usually only if they have a supernatural, fantasy, or thriller aspect.
I like travel literature, British mysteries or funny mysteries (the cozies), I love farcial comedy series, esp. sci fi or fantasy ones
I like some serious sci fi too--esp. with females in the military

I like mysteries and murders, I also like thrillers and horror books. I also like books that are fast paced and are intense, because I can get into the book more and more. Lol like sometimes I read a book and I can't stop reading it, so I just take it wherever I go, and if I find some free time, I read it.

omg, easy :) My favorite books are either romanticism (Three Musketeers and all that. Romanticism. Not Danielle Steele) or hardcore literature. Contemporary is my preference here. I can't really stand the old, form, of writing, that has commas, everywhere, and totally neglects, the, period.

I prefer the urban fantasy genre. Not sure how many ppl actually heard of it since it's usually categorized under horror or fantasy, but the most famous authors in the genre are Laurell K. Hamilton (she was the one who really made it famous), Kim Harrison, Charlaine Harris, etc. Urban fantasy is pretty much supernatural creautures living in normal society (not hiding away in the dark).

Whatever you call Tom Clancy. Espionage/action/politics types I guess. Not a big real-fantasy buff. Seems a bit gay to me. No offense of course, just not my cup of tea.
The titles are always INSERT CREATURE OR WEAPON of the REALM/FIRE/ICE etc etc.
I could just never do it.
I'm reading Tom Robbins' books at teh moment. Veeeerry different to say the least.

I, until recently, have rarely wondered outside the confines of the fantasy genre: as of late I've developed a taste for dystopia and might look in to some other sci-fi. I do like quite a lot of the classics and dip into the odd book from a variety of other genres.

They're two of my favourite books ever.
I'm interested most in old books (Paradise Lost/Thus Spoke Zarathustra) but mostly ones that are epic and make me feel like I've come to the end of a long journey after I finish them.
I guess books that change my philosophy on life (or at least make me consider it) are my favourites.
