Oh yeah dude, you should read it...but maybe she should have, Saya was a real heart breaker, everyone loved her. Even Kai. I support Saya X Kai BTW. Its ok if you don't like this pairing.

Yeah, I like it in any case. KaiXSaya is my first favorite, HajiXSaya is my second favorite and SolomonXSaya is my third, but my main paring is KaiXSaya. So I keep a open mind to the parings people like.

They do work. Now I'll have to go read them. (I've read that last one :druul lol)

Possibly one of Diva's daughters could become pregnant by Haji. ...I see that being by artificial insemination, since I can't see Haji wanting to be with any woman but Saya.
People shouldn't have a problem with them needing human blood to live. They don't need a lot. According to the manga, about 1 unit. There are many health ailments that cause people to need regular transfusions or they would die. Not much different really

There was character in Adagio named David, and he was the same, but it was set in around 1910 Russia. ??? ...and Diva was using some a dead Russin girl's body......now I have to look for them somewhere else.:(

@Neko, I thought Saya and Diva both had major psychosocial issues that should have been overcome in another way, that wouldn't have made for a very interesting anime, or at least it might not have...yet I only bring it up because it was such a good anime that it made me care about the characters. I think both Diva and Saya's life were wasted in that there was unexplored potential there. Though it is true that Saya has more life yet to live, rather 100 years were wasted. Though admittedly her heart was in the right place, and her intentions were good. I admit Amshel had to die in any case.

How would the anime have gone if someone like say Kai, talked Saya into forgetting about her fight, and got her to cut her losses and run, she gave Kai her blood, and Him, Haji, Riku and Saya, told the red shield to go F.ck itself and took off...I know its OOC, but its conceivable remotely with the right persuasion. Hypothetically what would happen?

I can't see it happening. As soon as she recovered from her amnesia she'd be after Diva again, with or without the red shield. If she managed to stop Diva and Amshel, the others probably wouldn't cause much harm on their own. ....Then Saya might be convinced to just leave the fight.

Maybe, maybe not...Someone would have to be very persuasive to change her life and convince her otherwise. Its very unlikely but anyone can possibly be convinced of something. If the right things are said by the right person, under the right circumstances. Saya has shown herself to be stubborn, yet almost convinced by a few people in the story under various circumstances to take various courses.

Her will has been shown to falter. I believe a strong person she cares about could do it. Yet I'm 97% sure they couldn't make it hold, and cause her to go through with it...yet there is that 3% chance. Yet it would also take some major action on there part, some event and some major backing up. It would take alot. Yet Saya never gave me the impression she was absolutely infallible.

If someone gets bellow her surface and touches where she lives with the right insight with some major action or event, they have a chance. Her resolve could be broken. Yet thats true for just about any character. Though like I said even if someone did it perfectly even if they temporally convinced her, there is only about a 3% chance of it holding. Many things would have to also happen under just the right circumstances also.

If this would hypothetically be a good or a bad thing is a matter of personal opinion and how you look at it. Again, its highly, and I mean highly improbable, but the point is its conceivably possible.

Maybe, but I doubt it...though it is possible. I think Saya is more psychologically effected because its her. I do think however that there would be some response in Diva, it might even move her.

Agreed, poor doomed Riku, he died badly, it was sad. Diva died misunderstood and without the chance to evolve as a character. She was still mislead in many ways, it was a waste of character potential. She could have changed and slowly come to terms with Saya, at least that would have been possible before Riku. I think Diva went too far, it was unfortunate. Yet Blood+ a had a tragic theme and a constant undercurrent of Sorrow.
